I got the JBL’s, same here and I installed the adapters as is and it sounds great. No popping or anything. I had read they fixed the reversed issue after lots of complaints from the forum.
I've not yet heard any popping from the new Infinity speakers, either. The product's ad copy on Crutchfield's site materially omits mention of the inclusion of capacitors with the speakers, though, nor the possible need to solder them in place if sound quality suffers. This, on top of the inaccurate plug-and-play installation promise for the 2018+ Wrangler.

I've been buying from Crutchfield since the 80s, and have had a superlative experience in that time, but this go-round was a multi-tiered flub on their part.

I was on the phone with Crutchfield Tech Support after I identified the two installation deficiencies that I mentioned in a previous post (and to be clear, the rep was polite and professional). He claimed no knowledge of the polarity-reversal issue with the Metra adapters. Having the correct terminal pin tool kit allowed me to fix that matter on the bench in short order. Good luck to the owners that have to cut & crimp to fix things.

I did mention to the tech that the wiring chart, on p. 17 of their own Master Sheet for the 2018+ Wrangler, correctly identifies in detail all of the positive and negative factory wire colors. I then suggested that this data could be cross walked to the Metra adapters, if or when they decide to investigate the aforementioned and still-current polarity error.

Installed Factor 55 E-Link, really like the clean look and the synthetic rope no longer hangs in harms way!

Next up is to mount Rigid 360 6" driving lights, will have to get a little creative but think they will just fit on the lower part of the bumper right next to the bull bar. Santa was pretty good to me this year!

Got my Oracle backup lights installed finally. Elected to use double sided gorilla tape instead of trying to get those screws back in. Tied them together and into the reverse light circuit from the hitch harness and a weather pac connector.

Added the A-Pillar KC Hilite Slimlites to match the two on the bumper the other day. Finally gave her a bath and got to take some pics by the Operation Tiger tank at Ft Taber.

Love the setup. What beam patterns are you using on the a-pillar and bumper?

Did mine today too. Getting those screws back in is near impossible. Got one in about half way and gave up on the second one. The lights fit very tight so can’t see them coming out on their own but it’ll try again this weekend

They're the same lights KC Slimlite LEDs. They're narrow driving beam patterns, if I had a choice I would have loved one of the sets to have been a wide beam with the option of amber covers when needed. The bumper ones fit right into the existing holes of the Mopar steel factory bumper. The A-pillars are mounted with the KC A pillar mounts.

I Love the look of the slimlites. Im thinking about putting Spots on the a-pillar and wide beams on the bumper.

That should work nicely! Yeah I can't complain about them, they work great (I have them hooked up to two different AUX switches). I loved how they just fit into existing holes on the bumper.

Installed a JCR Crusader front bumper and skid plate and topped it off with a Warn VR Evo 12,000 lbs winch. Pretty painless install. .... if you are wonder why 12,000 lbs.... well might have to unstick the Tremor with the Northern Lite on it.... :) LOL

So, I’m almost done (like that’s a thing with a Jeep), but haven’t posted anything yet. Here goes:
Fab Fours Light Rock Sliders
Thule Roof Cross Bars and Air Deflector
Stubby Antenna
Removed Wrangler Unlimited Decals
MoPar Flat Tow Wiring Harness: Plug and Play to make her towable behind my motorhome
Demco Tabless Baseplate to hook up the motorhome
MoPar Tailgate Reinforcement
MoPar Corgo Mat and Seat Back Protector
Red Hardtop Thumbscrews with Tie Down Tabs
His and Hers 67 Designs Phone Holders
Quadratec (WeatherTech) Floor Mats
Quadratec Door Sill Guards Front and Rear
Left Foot Dead Pedal
Smart Start/Stop Module
Demco Air Force One Supplemental Air Brake System (towing behind motorhome)
Cool Tech Jumper Wire (makes the USB port on the instrument panel HOT full-time without ignition on)
MoPar Rear Cargo Tub
MoPar Front Grab Handles
Center Console Inserts, Top and Bottom
Grab Rail Insert
Rear Seat Hanging Loops
Still have the Oracle Reverse Lights to install but I plan to remove the rear bumper to make it easier to those two very difficult screws in!

Had the stealership do my first free oil change. I was happy to see the paperwork show 5 qts and went with it. Well, it’s been a few days and I decided to check their work. Of course, it was a quart over. Those bastards over filled it after all even though it said 5 qts on the paperwork.

I think I’ll be doing the rest myself. My fault for trusting the dealer to do it right.

Side note, my LoD Signature sliders come in on Tuesday next week!! Can’t wait!
