Only issues have been two ripp coil packs that went bad (one original and the replacement they sent also had misfire codes).
With having 2 coil packs go bad, did you go back to stock or your still running the RIPPs?

Yes, this mileage in the rubicons is horrible as well. Should be false advertisement, not that I was looking for MPG's with a Wrangler.

Picked up my Jeep September 2019 (ordered late July 2019). Have about 5200 Miles on it as of today. I do not drive it much since I have been Home Based from my job for about 4 years now. And then of course COVID hits...

I still have them in and guess what, third one went bad today. I will be going back to stock and definitely telling everyone to stay away from RIPP.

My JLR will be one year old in January and just turning 9000 miles. Only issue was with ESS a couple days after taking delivery, dealer found loose connection at start-stop relay and trouble free since. I have done lots of mods/upgrades (all done myself) but wanted to get at least a year and 10,000 trouble free miles on her before doing any real performance mods. I have installed the Mopar CAI (have not cut the hood yet and not sure I will) and in a couple weeks will install a Borla Touring Climber Cat-Back. (Expect release date mid January for 2-door JL's) After that, I will go over all mechanicals with a fine tooth comb and if all checks out will then install a Livernois tune.

I am super happy with my Rubi 2-door...A very cool & fun machine and for me, a worthwhile investment!

I'm trying to talk myself into the Livernois currently. I hate paying money for something that should have been done from the factory.

Wish the Livernois tuner would have more programing items to go along with it (e.g. fog with high beams, ess turn off, sway bar stuff). Looks like the only thing they allow is gearing and tire size.

Agreed. I'm not giving up my Tazer JL (which I assume I would for this Livernois tune). They can keep the 11hp and 22ft lbs. If I recall, new down/midpipe can produce that much.

Mine:

2018 JLR, delivered June 22, 2018
26,225 miles today
Change engine oil changed 5 times. (Pennzoil Full Synthetic 0W-20)
Change oil filter changed 5 times. (Mopar Oil Filter MO-349)
Change engine air filter changed 2 times. (Mopar Air Filter 68257030AA)
Changed the cabin filter once too, but it's only an issue in the winter with the top on.
5 Tire Rotation every oil change or change of tires, whichever comes first.

Runs great and I love the 6 speed, though I think it runs a bit tall from the factory. Now on 34's (ish) and it still motors well until I go to climb. The run up I-70 is spent mostly in 4th with downshifts to 3rd on occasion to keep up with traffic. The engine doesn't seem to mine the revs, which is good.

I'll change diff fluid once my new 4.88 gears come in and then we will see about getting up that hill.

Don't want to jinx myself, but the Jeep has been great. Some recall work and stereo swap were the only things of note. Taken care of by the dealer so all is well. The door hinges are bubbling, but will be taken care of as well.

Overall, love my Jeep.

Thinking about going out to play in the fresh bit of snow now.

Not sure if I mentioned it before, but there is a guy on the Gladiator forum that has over 100k on his now. He is a wide load escort for windmills and blades, so he racks up highway miles VERY quickly. He's had no issues with his and loves it.

Mine's been parked for a couple weeks while I was out of town but I'm at 41k now and will do a 3 year review in mid-January. I think it was around the 20th that I took delivery in 2018. I couldn't be happier.

This year will have several big trips, God willing, so it'll probably be a 15k to 20k year for it. Maybe even a little more.

That’s awesome! Definitely a great time to go off roading. Yes, driving a Jeep is so much better!! Glad for the upgrade I’m sure!
Getting out to whatever is around you is always fun! At least you had your Jeep to get you through and explore. I’m sure that had to be fun exploring all those back roads. Crazy seeing all the old mining roads and thinking how they got through them. I haven’t done much exploring in Kentucky just driven through mainly. But I’ve heard stories! I can imagine the one stoplight towns. I’m from Texas and we have plenty of those. You blink and you’ve passed through. At least you’ve got some public land to traverse. That’s how Texas is also. I just moved to Arizona and can’t believe how much public land is out here with a ridiculous amount of trails to do. Make the most of what you have and have a blast!
If I lived where you do, I'd probably have 100k on it by now! Lol! That's Jeep country out there, for sure!

14 months, October 26 2019 - December 31, 2020: 32k miles.

I am VERY blessed with my Jeep, it's my first one and I'm sure I've done some things in ignorance. Watch things start to go bad at 36,001 miles. 😅

we've covered this a bunch, no need to have an either/or approach. our tuning is on the ECM and TCM, something the a Tazer/JScan/etc doesn't touch. we have countless customers running both as they do different things.

And it's only that little of gains if you insist on running 87 octane, which really isn't the best even stock, that's why so many people complain of audible pinging. But even then, look at the graph, it's power throughout the entire range! not just in 1 spot like most mods.

Thanks for clearing that up. My thoughts have now changed and I may give you guys a try!
