Hi,
is there a difference in speakers between the stock audio and the premium audio in the 2x dash and 4x sound bar speakers?

I recently ordered a 2021 sport S - 7” no premium audio group. I found someone selling their alpine audio group 6 speakers and sub woofer (all but 2x front knee speakers). I purchased their speakers and went to go install them but from what I can tell these speakers are the exact same as the ones I have installed. I removed a dash speaker and the larger sound bar speaker and the part numbers look the same. Did I get the wrong speakers from this guy or are they actually the same?

I'm guessing the only difference in the premium audio is the head unit and sub woofer. Speakers are the same. I just did a complete upgrade adding a JL Audio amp, JL speakers all around and a JL Audio sub woofer. Kept the 7" head unit. Sounds amazing...far better than the upgraded Alpine system you can buy.

WOW I purchased on the factory order the upgraded Alpine Premium Sound with 8.4 Nav and my dash 3.5 speakers look and sound poorly plus one was blown. Mine do not look like yours. Yours look more premium than mine.

This is what I purchased. Infinity 3032cfx for less than $70 for a pair. Sound great. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R3032CM/Infinity-Reference-REF-3032cfx.html

Sorry only photo of box as took a few minutes to install with 12 yo G daughter. Go to web site above to see photo.

Waiting for a few post in using the 3032 in the sound bar as I heard it needs some modification.

good to know. That’s just surprising to me that adding the premium alpine upgrade would only add a sub woofer. For my build add it was an extra $1300 and I would keep my 7”.

Cost me $2600 installed for complete system. Well worth it. I do believe the Jeep Alpine upgrade includes the larger screen and a bit more power...but it's really about the speakers.

Unless it changed for 2021, the non alpine should have 2.5 inch speakers in the dash corners and soundbar, the alpines are 3.5 inch speakers. The 4 inch "woofers" will be the same between systems. The alpine upgrade gives larger "tweeters", a multi channel amp, a subwoofer, and obviously the new panels to conceal the subwoofer.

Ok, not sure what is happening now then. In the third picture I posted the bottom speaker is my stock sport s and the top should the an premium alpine from a 2020 Sahara. They both look to be the same except for what I believe is the lot number.

I have a 2018 non-alpine 7" headunit with the same 3.5" & 4" speakers shown in the pictures above.

Its possible for 21 they dropped the 2.5s and just ran 3.5s in all sound systems. Is it possible the guy you got them from sold you non alpines? You should be able to measure across them and see if they are 3.5s

I can’t confirm what I bought. I bought it locally from a guy who had a 2020 Sahara and he showed me his new pioneer sub and I had the option to buy his alpine sub and these speakers. I measured the speakers below
