Currently Jeep has a buy three get one free sale going on. I took the price of buying five tires to Discount Tire and they beat the offer. I paid $215 for each tire plus mounting and balancing. I haven’t found a better price than that.
Tires are awesome BTW.
That shows how lazy I am. While getting the steering damper recall done, I went ahead and did the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Mopar deal they had going on. My service rep was the one doing the work...he sent me what the Discount Tire price would have been. I got him to knock a few bucks off. Never thought to take the dealer price to Discount.

It ended up being $1,025 for 4 KO2 tires (same tire my 2018 JLUR came with), mounted, balanced, and front end alignment. Mopar road hazard is 100% for 1 year/50% for year 2. Road hazard coverage is not as great as Discount Tire but its $0.

Even thought I didn't do much legwork, I think it was a decent deal. My dealership Huffines CDJR in Lewisville, TX has been great both times I have dropped my Jeep off so had no problem giving them my business for new tires. Both times I have been there for warranty/recall work they have given me a loaner no questions asked.

Agreed completely with all of the above. Which is why I am surprised at how much noisier this brand new set of ATs is compared to a 4000mi set of MTs. I've driven Jeeps since I got my license and have run old Firestone ATs, Duratracs, and Cooper ST Maxx on my TJ. Then, KO2s on my JLUR, Falken MTs on my JTR, and now these. These are by far the loudest out of that sample size at 80mph.

I took it back to the tire shop and had them all rebalanced. They said one was really tough to balance, and already cupping. So far I am not impressed, and am wishing I had just ordered a set of KO2s like I had on my JLUR :lipssealed:
I was seriously considering these tires and am disappointed to read your observation that they’re louder than the Falcons (I’m running those now). It’s surprising that you’re having balancing and cupping problems.

I sent a customer service request on their site on Monday, and haven't heard back. Tried calling and they're closed till next Monday. I will be beyond the 500mi "trial period" before they're back in the office, but hopefully they make it right. I noticed in the fine print that the "trial period" does not apply to tires purchased online. Convenient when they're on national backorder everywhere but online.

I am thinking the noise might just be the 1/4 bad tire. We'll see on Monday if they're willing to send me a new one.

This tire has many positive reviews, so maybe you do have a bad one. That is too convenient fine print. I hope they do right for you.

I‘m doing some reading on tires because I plan on getting some this BF :fingerscrossed:

I have driven them about 500 miles now and like them about as much as my stock KO2s. I can’t tell much of a difference between them, except the height of the new 35s. I measured actual size mounted on the Jeep and inflated to 37psi and the true height is 34” exactly, but then again the stocks measured about 31.5” so the net height gain is about 1.25”.

They are much quieter than the KO2s with 40k miles, but any new tire is likely to be quieter than a used tire.

I added a 1.5/1.0 lift from Traxda to give the Jeep a more level ride and maintain the stock wheel well spacing. Rides like stock.

Looks great! Simpletire doesn’t have installers near me so I’m going to get the 315s.

I had them delivered to my house and had a local shop mount and balance them for $100 for all five.

@Taxman, are you still liking these and do you still think they are as quiet as the KO2’s? I’m thinking I am going to be replacing my KO2’s because I’m tired of fighting balancing issues but do to some major Tinnitus I really need a quiet tire. That’s why I have ruffed it out with the BFG’s on the last two jeeps.

If you need a quiet tire, I wouldn’t look at AT or MT tires. You really need road tires like all-season tires. ATs get loud as they wear out. They’re great for the first 20k miles but the last 20k miles are considerably louder. That being said, the Toyo AT3 is slightly louder than the BFG KO2. They have a more aggressive tread pattern with larger lugs and more spacing. That will cause more road noise at highway speeds.

They ride very much like the BFGs and are pretty smooth for an AT tire. Snow and ice traction were fantastic. The 35s tend to wander more than the stock 33s but that’s also expected.

Like I said earlier, if you want a quiet tire, I wouldn’t look at ATS.

I still wheel the thing pretty hard so unfortunately about the least aggressive I could go with is an AT. I ran SST Pros on my Lj but they were pretty loud, switched to the KO2’s on the Jl and it’s tolerable, if I can find something that balance better around the same noise level I would be good.

I finally got the Toyos mounted. Prior to the tires ground to bottom of wheel well was 37" With the Toyos just under 38". So an inch higher.
Now waiting on the springs and control arms.

The springs and control arms are installed. Now the measurement is like 39 3/4". A gain of just under 3" of lift. I like the look and feel the way it is. The spare rubs pretty badly on the rear bumper so I've got a relocation kit coming. Also added the steps. They work and look great.

Thanks Brad! And all this time I thought Harleys, Porsches, & Corvettes were expensive to customize 😂
