Dealer did not have a part number listing for the fuel filter for the 2021 MY diesel. I searched the web and could only find the p/n for a 2020 diesel (which may be the same for the 2021, but I do not want to make any assumptions).

I do not need the fuel filter yet, but I will in a few weeks, so I like to keep all "service parts" in stock so I have them when I need them.

Does anyone know the part number for the fuel filter for the 2021? (Not the filter and housing, just the filter).

Thank you.

FYI

Dealer just called me back after checking with Mopar. The P/N for the 2021 EcoDiesel JL fuel filter is 68436631AA. Same P/N as 2020.

No I don't think so. Just oil, & oil filter changes & tire rotations. And only 3 events each. So I do my own service

I believe the Jeep uses the frame rail mounted fuel filter housing just like the Ram. If so, it's a <5 minute job to change the fuel filter. Shops have been known to charge $200 or more for the swap. It's insane. Doing your own maintenance is always the best bet with a diesel. Learn how to do almost everything you can. The savings and feeling of satisfaction is worth it.

FYI that fuel filter you linked is also shared with the Cummins diesel 2019+ so hopefully there'll be less expensive options for it in the near future.

I found the correct Mopar fuel filter on Ebay. I think it was $45.

Is there only one fuel filter we have to worry about or are there several? I assume this filter resides on the drivers side frame rail?

Did mine at 20k. The hard part was the fear of over tightening and breaking the plastic cover. Needed to tighten more a few times after driving a few days had a slight leak. Anyone know the ft lbs. needed? BTW Never found water in the water separator checked a few times prior to replacing the filter @ 20k.
Although perplexed to find some in the glass container when draining excess fuel while doing the filter change.

I assume it does but you could check with a dealer to make sure.
