Girlfriend surprised me with a cool birthday present...dunno how she new about hothead headliners but got those and their sound assassin strips. Doesn’t feel like driving around in a fridge anymore, temps in the cab should be easily managed too.

Then called up @Artec to order their D44 front truss and ended up ordering their JL Full Bellypan - 4 door 2.0L Aluminum skid plates because they’re having an awesome sale right now.

And then proceeded to blow out a factory nutsert that held one of the skid plate bolts to the frame so found some 1/8 stock, drilled a hole, spot welded the nutsert to it, bent it up and fished the nutsert back into the frame to finish the install.

Took it out once to check clearances and log baseline shock settings with feel and handling. Really pleased with the ride and handling right out of the box. Looking forward to dialing everything in further.

Love the addition of the Artec Armor, I'll be going the same at some point.

What's next on your build?

Which steering wheel cover?
Here you go, any 15inch cover should work though: https://www.amazon.com/KAFEEK-Unive...17527&sprefix=15+inch+steer&sr=8-7&th=1&psc=1

I plan on collecting parts to regear and beef up the axle housings, then do the install all at once. I ordered Artecs JL APEX front axle armor kit along with their weld-in rear LCA skids. Probably upgrade the drive shafts with the Adam’s 1350 kit. Tom Woods fan here but I see Adam’s runs a 1/2 smaller tube than Tom Woods and thicker wall DOM. I like the idea of the smaller tube due to reading that some people have had clearance issues with the gas tank during flex. Been looking at RCVs, and then of course the regear, thinking Dana Spicer 4.88s. Living in Colorado with mountains I see some people running 5.13s, not sure if I want to go that deep....any comments/advice on mods I just mentioned?
Also ordered Rusty’s spare tire carrier on October 8th thru Quadratec but looks like it won’t be here till January 2021.

Been a bit since I updated this thread. A good friend of mine came out to visit over Thanksgiving and we decided to head out to Canyonlands NP and explore The Maze area. At the time was still waiting on the spare tire carrier so laid down the spare in the back and drove roundtrip - felt good to not hassle with a tow rig and trailer. I was impressed with the roundtrip MPG considering the 37s, stock 4.10s, and mountainous I-70 route out and back.

Got to flex out the new lift in a couple spots, not bad for a short arm but did notice some rubbing on the rear frame from the sway bar link hardware, I'll have to address in the future:

We camped at Standing Rock the first night, brought all the fixings for a Turkey Pot Pie in a dutch oven for Thanksgiving Dinner and hiked some of the local trails the following day before heading over to the Doll House area:

Rusty's Spare Tire Carrier finally came in after I ended up canceling my order through Quadratec and got it straight from @RUSTYS only after 2 weeks, Thank You! The Carrier is solid and it's probably my favorite part on the jeep:
