Let me know if it works please.
So I just disabled my auto start and stop with the superchips. It tells you to unplug the hood pin. I realize this would do it anyway, but I think the difference here is, the flashcal will remove the error codes and lights from the dash. I plan to go drive my Jeep in a few to test this theory out. The difference between the Tazer is you can still use it if needed. Flashcal will ultimately disable the ESS altogether.

Yes. I have the Tazer and just found this out: it allows you to leave ESS turned on or off by simply pressing the button.

I don’t mind the ESS any more, so I leave it on. However, it was really damp and rainy last week; the windows would fog up every time I stopped at a light. I pressed the ESS button, and kept it turned off.

The sun came back out this weekend, so ESS is back on.

I think it’s smart how Tazer did it.

I think the bare aluminum bumper will look great with the Bikini, as well. Next Venture Motorsports just recently started making aluminum bumpers and armor.
Well hell, I’ll just stop by there and have a chat with them. They are just over in Grand Junction.

Lucid VSL installed today. Great for rocks or blinding someone next to you at a stop light

Wow, those are great! How bright are they? Did you also wire it to the turn signals?

The Tazer is not only a great way of giving a memory ability to the ASS, but allows adjustment of the tpms thresholds and tire and gear reprogramming. For us Rubicon owners, we get use of the rear locker in 2hi, both lockers in 4hi, and sway kill that prevents reattach over a certain speed.

Removed plastic rear bumper. Cavfab and Rusty’s coming tomorrow . I used the RC license plate relocation bracket. It works well with the Teraflex Alpha spare bracket.

Nice! What Cavfab bumper did you choose? I went with their Ultra High Clearance, which is sitting in my garage until their hinged carrier shows up. Then its off to the powder coater.

Yeah that is pretty cool. I may try to sell this flashcal. My theory didn’t work. As soon as I started it the light turned on. I’m going to try just laying the hood sensor on its side and see if that’ll work. If not, back to hitting the button every startup.

This is a fun thread I’ve seen on a few other forums. Can be anything from mods to drives, to washes, etc. pictures are always a plus!

So what did you do to your Jeep today?
I took delivery of my very first Jeep/Wrangler yesterday (a 2021 Sarge Green manual Willys JLU) and could not wait to change out the antenna and slap on some decals. 7” antenna, Oscar Mike on the hood, flags on the side vents, and some hints that it’s a chick’s Jeep - not a dude’s. 😂😉☺

I went with the fascia cover from both Cavfab and Rusty’s. I liked the no bumper idea for clearance, but wanted to still have some recovery points and clean it up a bit.
