So on JL3, aka baby Jeep, we installed take off rubi wheels and suspension from JL2. “Rubicon like” rails from Extreme terrain and a quadratec branded stubby bumper. It’s looking pretty good if I say so myself. We’ll be getting the trailer hitch and red recovery hook off of my buddys rubicon next week. We already have a winch but haven’t installed it yet.

I love our Rubicons but this little guy sure is a lot of fun to drive. Especially with the 6-speed.

No new bump stops, but I haven’t driven it off-road yet

I’m doing this tomorrow, in the pic it looks like it matches pretty good with the back doors, with eyes on it in person, do you think it matches pretty good. I haven’t bought the tint yet.

Ohio's front seat side windows limit is 50% VLT though, correct? (Back and rear are unrestricted, IIRC)

Polarity is reversed in the front using Metra's with an Alpine amplified system. Not sure on the base stereo.

Interestingly the rear sound bar is not reversed with same Metra's......

You can download SpeakerPop for iPhone to properly test all speakers are in phase.

I just did a swap a week ago and doing a proper speak polarity test showed they were reversed. I also helped another forum user who also confirmed they are swapped.

I strongly suggest Speaker Pop to test this as it confirms that regardless of the wiring between the amp and speakers that the polarity is correct. And that is what matters for your listening pleasure.

Professional installers always test this way - what the speaker is actually doing.

In Iowa, having a dirty window on the front doors is practically illegal (70% VLT).

Fortunately, I have only 2-Dr wranglers. So all of my doors are rear doors.
