Hay guys. Just jumping in here. I got a great deal on some fuel kicker 5’s from a local shop. I plan on running 33’s soon. Does anyone know or have pictures of how these will fit? 17x9 -12 71.5

Dude...

I love those wheels. Are those the Anthracite with black rings? They should look awesome on your Jeep.

What do you have? A sport or Sahara? They will stick out a bit and give that wide wheel look. Hurry up and put them on so we can see some pictures.

I have a sport. 2 door. Anthracite gray and black ring is right and going on my anthracite jl. I cant wait to put them out and im glad theyll stick out. Looking for a more agressove look. The 33s will wait cause im still trying to decide between lift and 35s. But i will post it in about 2 weeks. I got all 5 for 1k tax included

That is a good price. Quadratic has them for 253 each.

You can also use Rubicon suspension parts to get a 1 1/2 inch lift.

Decisions... decisions...

RC 2.5” spacer lift on 35’s. These are -18 offset. -12 will be a little less poke.

I went with KMC 545 Trek, 17x9, 5" backspace, 0 offset, with Falken 315/70s. Really like the way they look, a bit wider track but not too far past the fenders, no rubbing stop to stop. I did add an AEV 2.5" lift at the same time. I am about 300 miles into the setup and no complaints so far.

Looks very nice. How much lift did you get out of the AEV lift?

I like how this looks. I am totally confused on what size wheel we have and what size we need to go to with a lift. I have the JLU altitude with 18 x 7.5 black wheels.

My Sahara came with 18x7.5" wheels. As much as I liked them, the huge offset and narrow width just would not, in my mind, work with a 35x12.5 tire, which I really wanted. Plus, it's very hard to find a 35x12.5 that fits on a 7.5" rim. So I bit the bullet and bought the KMCs for just over $200 each. More than I wanted to spend, but in the long run 35x12.5x17" tires seem to be a lot cheaper and more readily available than 18" diameters. And, I got a great deal on the Falkens at $215 each delivered.

Do the tires throw up stones, etc. on the side of the Jeep? Asking because the wheels stick out past the fenders.

I haven't noticed that they do, but it's only been a few hundred miles. What I have seen is that it does throw a fine mist off the top of the tire in the rain, along the side of the Jeep.

But, almost every other Jeep I passed did the same thing to one degree or another, and I saw at least a dozen.

I was wondering the same thing, so I have inspected the Jeep for the past 8 days, every day, looking for chips in the paint, and haven't found any yet.
