My salesman had meager product knowledge, despite being a Wrangler owner himself. I therefore passed on any sort of post-delivery briefing that would acclimate me with the finer details of the vehicle. After the JL was home in the garage, I too discovered little odds & ends like the multi-function station and volume controls on the rear of the steering wheel.

Planning to do the same. Do they peel off easily, and is any residue left behind? TIA.
I used a heat gun to warm them up and removed pretty easily
A little WD40 on a soft cotton rag to take care of any residual adhesive spots. Wipe with alcohol and then some quick detailer

I finished the Teraflex Alpha HD Tire carrier but ran into an issue with the back up camera. Apparently the rear camera mount is different on some of the 2021’s with the front trail camera. Not sure what the correlation is but it’s different and has no metal bracket (uses a clam shell type set up)to bolt on the new center mount.
Teraflex is aware of the change and working on a mount for the new style camera.
For a temporary fix I cut the stock mount off and ground it to fit inside the Teraflex mounting location. You’ll want a snug friction fit. I used 3m tape to hold the camera in the stock clam shell and then attached it to the camera cover with more 3m tape. Secure and works fine until I get the redesigned bracket from Teraflex
Hope this helps! Here’s a few pictures

Just cut my factory antenna to 18”. I do this to every vehicle I get. I’ll paint this one black when I get some paint but for now it works.

I just pop the ball off the end, cut it where I want and then grind down the thicker new end until I’m able to mount the little ball back on for a stock look.

Here’s a before during and after pics. Not bad for free.

Doors off, back windows out, and top wide open to celebrate a week of dry weather following Hurricane/Storm Eta... Seemed only right to do so

They look great! - I was just considering these yesterday as I look for more ways to spend money I don’t have on a Jeep that doesn’t need them. How was the DIY install? Not too painful or a PITA?

All kinda stuff going on.

My Jeep has been at the dealer for 2 weeks. I picked it up today. It would have been 1 day but the parts I ordered were shipped in 3 orders and one was sent usps which caused all kinda issues and still is.

I had my flare replaced from the yellowing along with my grill.

I had new arms put on the rear window cause they were broke from the factory.

While it was down there I decided to put on fox 2.0’s all around. I’m still waiting on the stabilizer arm cause that was the one sent via post office. Complete shit show.

I also added new hood latches which I have been waiting on for 3 months.

When I got home I wanted to wash and noticed my paint was a mess from sitting outside for 2 weeks. So I decided to do my winter sealant and paint correction which I’m now in the middle of completing into tomorrow.

Here is what I’m using for my sealant and paint correction process. I know I can ceramic coat but I have been doing this process for over 10 years with great success and I only need to do it twice a year. I do a refresh spray on weekly which is the same product from wolfgang. I only do the fuzion wax layer in winter to give me an extra layer for the salt to eat through before it attacks my sealant. Over the years I have just changed up the sealant as the tech improves.

Hey, it's the guy with the water drain in his garage! :like:

Later,
Johnny
Yup! Winter is coming! Trying to get used to washing this thing with the garage door down. I can’t open up the rear gate all the way while I’m washing. Going to be harder to wash inside than my Tahoe. Today was warm enough to keep the door open to give it a test run.

I had my local shop install them. Took about 5 hours. Most difficult part was the drilling/positioning of the fenders and the wiring of the lights. It was tricky since I have the LED light package and they had to figure out how to wire it so the turn signals wouldn’t show up on the dash as burned out.
