Per the title, how does one identify the correct bolts for the steering box TSB? I've heard the correct TSB bolts are a black. Is that true? I have the TSB but my bolts are silver. Thanks!

I recently had the TSB applied with the updated "black" steering gear. The new bolts are silver.

However, I've heard the bolt length is shorter for the new gear. If old bolts are used they will be visibly protruding way beyond the black gear box.

Thanks! I'll have to check this. If memory serves, I can see the bolts protruding but no thread.
