Good luck on your recovery mate. We can always get new metal, but human body parts are harder to come by.It went back to the body shop for finishing touches last week. Should be back to me on Thursday or Friday.
I get a second round of cervical injections Wednesday so I should have some relief from neck pain and headache for a few days to enjoy getting it back.
Everything is completely done except that the body shop apparently ordered the wrong fender. Dealership manager was literally looking for a fender to pull off of a new Jeep on the lot, but didn’t have any black texture finish fenders.Any Friday pickup update
that's a serious business you had to go through but surely worth itSo a lady ran a red light and smashed me and my Jeep a couple months ago. I thought the pics of the frame replacement process were interesting, so I thought I’d share. I’ll post more as the service guy sends them.
ETA: Added a couple new pics from today. New ETA is Tuesday.
10/14/20 Update: Engine, trans, new axle, suspension, etc. on new frame. Body dropping on this afternoon.
ETA: 10/19/20 - Finally back to body shop tomorrow for last bit of work.
WOW!It’s back!! Aux switch for a-pillar lights is not working, but that’s the only issue I’ve noticed so far.
Some meth head rear ended my brand new Rubicon. Steel bumper and tow hook took most of the hit, but looking underneath I have some frame damage. One with the tube doors. Its driving great and aside from one or two very minor things, all seems to be like new.
