Quick snap, picked ours up last night. Haven’t really had time to fully enjoy yet, home late last night then work all day today. Hopefully I can check it out more thoroughly tomorrow and the rest of the week. I definitely did enjoy that cold weather package today though.

Never said the springs were the same on the Willys. I stated the Rubicons have longer springs and shocks (yes the Willys has the Rubicon shocks, but shocks don't dictate height), but seem to sit at the exact same height as all of the other Wrangler packages.

One thing that has me attracted to the Willys is the longer Rubicon shocks. It seems a simple spacer lift would be a very inexpensive way to lift the Willys for minimum costs (maybe the longer LCAs from the Mopar lift kit depending on camber). The Willys package gets me everything I want with the least amount of cost and waste. A spacer lift like posted above, and 285/75-17 tires with some spacers, and I could be very happy.
I agree and I thought the same while looking at the lot. That being said, here is the pic that convinced me once and for all the Sports sit lower:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/285-75-r17-on-stock-jl-sport.9439/page-8#post-1131368

vs my very stock Willys on the same exact tire:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/285-75-r17-on-stock-jl-sport.9439/page-9#post-1178448

That thread is good and you can see other Sports on the tire have less fender well space.

As a reference point here is the same guy's build with Rubi springs and a Fox shocks:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/lifted-2-door-jl-wrangler-photos.9553/post-1181745

So not quite the same, but I can see a difference.

Has anyone used the Firestone tires in the winter? Just wondering how they do, I‘m in Maine so we get a serious winter.

I should be picking my Jeep up within a week and I plan on doing a small 2” lift and putting 33” tires on, but was going to wait until Spring. If the stock tires suck I might need to move my plans up to ASAP.
I used the firestones this past January when we had a series of snow storms in Washington State, and the tires did really well. Very stable and no slippage, and I had no issues anywhere that I drove, aside from trying to stay out of the way from reckless BMWs.

Good evening to all. Just got my Willy's last week. I wanted the Alpine stereo and towing package with the HD electrical system and couldn't find one. The salesman at the dealership suggested I ordered one. So glad I did! That big o'le sub makes a HUGE difference. Got to have my tunes. First order of the day was to get the fuel filler door which I installed pronto.

Picked up my 2021 Willys. Had it two hours before I started tearing it apart and adding all the accessories I had sitting in my spare room.

Ok, I know this is blasphemous, but has anyone changed out their 255/75 MT to a 265/70 AT? 265/70's seem like the best value size and closest to the 255/75, which is a bit of an odd size.

Do you want a smaller diameter and wider tire?

Got the wheel spacers installed. Took it up to 65 mph with no issues. Will re torque after 50 miles per the instructions.

I noticed the rear passenger tire with the space had a slight negative camber with the wheel spacer. It was noticeable with the naked eye (neighbor pointed it out to me). I also noticed the majority of my break components were extremely exposed due to the stock tire being moved out.Wheel spacers looked great but I took them off because the back passenger tire looked slightly off. I checked it with a level and it was a hair off. Over reacting....thoughts???The tire appears back to normal now without the wheel spacers.
