Just ask @cosine he knows!
So just an FYI to those of you who had this done.

Mine was done about 3 weeks ago. When I got it back the PS fluid was right at the mid way between min and max level in the reservoir.

Over those 3 weeks it's dropped to below the min, but still above the bottom of the reservoir - so not empty or sucking in air.

I've looked for leaks and none, and topped it back up and will watch the level.

I can only assume it was not fully "burped" and some air came out that took in the additional reservoir fluid.

So keep an eye on the fluid level.

As an FYI AAP sells compatible Pentosin CHF11S fluid which is MS-11655 certified - not cheapest place to get it but open to 9pm on Saturdays.
Mine was between min & max right after TSB install, and is now at min, took a 1500 mile round trip to Vegas and the steering has tightened up and it's as good as I could have imagined :)
Prior to our Vegas trip the new box was essentially the same as the old box, but now it's much better! I assume we had air in the pump/lines and they've now been fully bled out.

Any special fluid needed or is it standard power steering fluid? Seems like there is always a new standard used by manufacturers for fluid. Just wanna make sure I have some on hand for when I get this done. I do have a bottle of "normal" power steering fluid in the garage.

It is a MS standard. As mentioned above Pentosin CHF11S is compatible and you can get it at Advanced Auto Parts. Or pickup the Mopar stuff from the dealership.

I am from Toronto, Canada. I went to 4 different dealerships and all of them are blaming my lift/Tires for the steering wobble. No one is willing to replace the steering box under TSB.

I took my Ecodiesel Rubicon for this TSB and they are telling me it isn’t included. Anyone here have the 3.0 diesel and had the work done?

The latest revision of the TSB references steering gear does not work for 3.0

Yessir, that’s what they are telling me. Strange, being they listed the diesel specifically in the original TSB

Wonder if something encroaches into the area the new steel box occupies on a Diesel? Would be a real cluster to need a unique box for that model.

Mine is all apart at the dealership right now. This has been a bad deal for me. I was so looking forward to better steering. Brand new top of the line Rubicon steers worse than my ‘01 TJ AND ‘83 CJ-7. Terrible
