I don't know anything about Focal, but when I was doing stereo everyday you could pretty much count on a dollar a watt. Back in the 90's manufactures used to play with their ratings. But if those component sets are worth 4 ohm's of resistance together than it sounds like you won't be going as low as the amp is capable of and therefore might be getting less power than is possible. Speakers always sound better when the amp can easily control them by having power to spare. I agree with Sting. I like to have more power than the speakers are rated for because it sounds so much more crisp. You can hear and feel the stick hitting the drum and the pick snapping the stringsI got a 4 chanel amp with 70 RMS and my dash speakers are 60 RMS and the soundbar are 70
the amp is a FPX 4.4 SQ good price, which the speakers are also Focals, I figured that would go well together, I was not looking for loud just deeper sound and more detailed at lower volume I guess if that makes sense. So the 70 is the max or the 100 watts is the max
- 70 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (100 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)
