I really admire that wheel & tire combination. Had it been available for order on my Sport, I might have taken one for the team and checked that particular Option box.
I agree, to me it was a dealbreaker, the wheels just work so well with granite crystal.

Nice, I just didn’t recognize the bottom pic. We live in citrus , and we’re usually either in croom, or withlacoochie state forest about every weekend.
Awesome, I’ve heard good things about Withlacoochie but haven’t made it up there yet.

The tire carrier is beefy and installed pretty easily, but could use some instructions.
I've installed a fair number of accessories through the years. More than twice have I wished that I could compel the manufacturers to pay me a consulting fee to [re]write their crappy instruction documents. Some are so lacking in discrete content that I wonder why they bothered. Others, like a few German accessory brands that come to mind (for motorcycles), just enclose a parts schematic and call it a day. SW-MOTECH, I'm looking at you.

It's a bit disheartening to read that Jeep accessory brands aren't immune from sometimes phoning it in.

I've seen a few instances where the companies don't provide any printed instructions at all, and expect that a YouTube video will do the heavy lifting for them. This is especially galling to think about when said video isn't even made by the brand itself, but rather by an owner who is just trying to help his community. Thank goodness for those guys.

Most of it was self-explanatory, but confirmation is a helpful too.

I will be emptying all the gear out of it from a weekend of camping in about 15 minutes.

I have most of the same accessories. I like them coasters!

You are going to find those Mopar sill guards inadequate, though. After scuffing the paint with my boots, I ended ripping them up and replacing them with a set from Quadratec.

As Aldo pointed out, you will want to protect that painted lip. You can either rip yours out and start over OR just add some protection. Kinda like this, or clear film.

I like your black film with the rough texture. Where might one purchase these products?

It was a failed kit I bought that was to be the actual protection but it just didn't fit right. I used the leftover stickums to do the protection with the Mopar treads. You could use any lightweight tread stickums. I could try to locate my old purchase info if you want. Let me know.

Thanks! I figure those good quality rough textured tapes could work well as well. I already have the Mopar guards I just want to cover up the lip without having to change out the sill guards.
