Nice thread. When I need new tires, these will probably be the ones.

Stock 2018 JL Sport S.
285/75/R17 BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 on stock wheels with no spacers. NOTE: These are 285/75/R17.

Discount tire only had 4 in stock, 5th tire is on route.

Tires clear, no rubbing on full lock when driving. Doesnt hit the frame, nor the plastics.. even with the ugly euro splash guard/bumper cover and air dam. Doesn't rub whatsoever on normal driving conditions. Haven't taken her off road yet, but will soon and will post updates. Will install a lift soon but with current stock height. No rubbing issues at all. Definitely sits higher than stock. Didn't measure for myself. However these tires have a little more than 2inches diameter increase compared to stock.

Other additions are Rough Country nerf bar side steps, plasti-dipped front tow hooks.

Drives smooth, can't feel a difference in power. Braking does feel slightly different as im pushing on it slightly harder. SLIGHTLY. But its barely a difference and not enough for concern.

Drove it 50+ miles on hwy, and maybe averaged 1 miles less per galon.. if that.. i drive 60 mph like a grandma with a very light foot.

Gone over speed bumps and a curb just for fun.. no rubbing on fenders.. still plenty of room.

Do they feel harsh as E load tires? The only C load 285/75r17's I can find are the new Toyo AT3's

Theyre a little harsh.. but not too bad. Its liveable.. running them around 29-30 psi is comfortable. you should be able to order the ko2s in a load range c. Just have to wait for them is all.

The E do give you great piece of mind off road though, strong as heck.. so for that its worth it to me.

I checked all of ko2's sizes and they don't make it in 285/75r17 for C load. Only 285/70 or jump all the way up to 315 for their C loads

Bummer.. i know they had them back when i was searching a couple years back.. but the E was in stock at Discount Tire at the time so i went with them. Nitto has the 285/75 in a C. From what I hear they are good too. 315 is also a solid tire choice. They'll fit and will look great.

I’m also running the KO2s 285/75/r17. Mine are also E rated. I love them and would do it again in a heartbeat. Almost as high as 35’s, more narrow so they tuck better and don’t rub. I’m running 50psi on the highway, they ride fine, get 18-20mpg, and noise isn’t a big deal. I should get 50-60k miles too.

My coopers are E load but they feel like c load tires. They're super comfortable. They're very quiet as well. They're also the lightest tires in this size in an aggressive tread.

Although a bit narrower with a higher load range, the KO2 is available in LT34x10.50R-17 LR-D.

If you can compromise between C and E this may be a consideration for you.

I've put about 1,000 miles since install (would be more, but ya know, COVID and all). About to take a couple hundred mile trip from NC to VA this week and will be curious how our first long trip will be in the JL on these.

No issues at all so far other than the shop forgetting to put wheel weight on the tires. Quieter and smoother than the stock Desitination MT2s and seemingly only a 1-2 hit to my MPG.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Thanks @DiscountTire
I really like the numbers on the KO2 LT34x10.50R-17 LR-D (price excluded).
I'm thinking they might be a nice step up from my stock Goodyear 245/75R17 AT's.
I've kinda searched the forum for fitment problems etc. but any specific feedback on these (for stock Sport S) would be appreciated.

If you go w/ that diameter I'd for sure look into the Rubicon take-off suspension to give you adequate clearance. Here's my thread on that, and I'd also consider the Toyo AT3, they are a brand new AT (with the newest rubber compound technology, 3 peak snow rating, and 50k mile warranty) that's getting stellar reviews :)

@blnewt makes a good recommendation. If you go off-road regularly and flex the suspension, the you'll enjoy the extra room

I can't say I've seen a JL running this particular size, but If you're mainly on-road, the 34x10.50R-17 KO2 should fit stock.

Very happy with my 285/75r17 Toyo AT 3. Thanks for the advice in this thread.
