Most of the options on the Recon are really cool (dig the red seat belts), and definitely less expensive than if unbundled. Too bad there's not an option to delete the poseur-ific hood decal with all the text on it. I know my Rubicon originally came with 33's and has a 4.1 transfer case. Don't need a hood decal to point that out.

The decals are removable. I donā€™t think Iā€™ll keep mine much longer.

The fenders were confusing when I ordered my Recon. I went through FCA corporate to order it (buyback replacement) and verified a couple times that I needed to order the fenders.

I do love the 2.0 eTorque engine.
I ordered mine in January - non painted fenders. Maybe later orders required painted fenders.

My 2020 did not come with the hood stickers. Also came with plain black around the side vents vs. the flag.

The recon has the premium rock sliders too...they are more like a step. In want them for my Rubicon, but $900 is a lot of $$$ for stock sliders.

Looks like the REcon is gone for 2021.

Same with ours - no hood decal. Also, my wife is thrilled with the 2.0L turbo and eTorque. In addition to the more zippy feel over her old 2013 JK, she averages 22 mpg. She was getting 17 mpg previously.

I doubt 392 will ever see production when FCA doesnā€™t know how else to force Wrangler buyers into eTorque and 4-cylinder engines.

Then again, after four model years I never thought we would see half doors, yet here they finally are.

IMHO they would not have to "force" people to buy the 392, it is something people want as opposed to the E Torque **EDIT** complexity.

My 2018 JLUR has the 2.0, and I really like it. Certainly different feel from my son's 3.6 in his JL Sport.

Still not sure why the 2.0 has so many haters other than some nonsense about preferring naturally aspirated engines or the complexities of hybrid technology. Guess what? That 3.6 is plenty complex.

Not positive but believe you canā€™t order Recon any longer. It was a 2020 only I thought.
I was told by my dealer that Jeep typically offers the Recon on even years, so no Recon for 2021.

Package saving s aside(which is a great deal), I wanted the 2.0L eTorque. It is a superb drivetrain.
