There are not many pictures of high altitudes with different tires. 275/60/20 which is a 33-in tire by 10.8 inches. I think it's a perfect fit.

I agree. Looks so much better than the stock street tires. I went with the Falken Wildpeaks in that size. Was very close to getting 285/60/20s (Toyos) and even considered 275/65/20s (Nitto Terras).

Jeep looks great!

I almost went with a 34 inch tire but very happy I decided to stay with a 33.

After years of grand Cherokees ive bought my first wrangler in 20 yrs. I bought a 2021 high altitude and contrary to popular belief I plan on driving it off-road a lot. I want to swap out the tires. i agree that the best size is 275/60/20. But which tire? I’m looking at the BF Goodrich KO2, Nitto, Toyo, kena trail hogs, etc. what’s the best choice? Thanks all.

I spent way too much considering tires.

At first, I was set on the KO2s (despite my neighbor telling me all the bad experiences he used to have with them and that he would never get them again). I went to Costco to order the KO2s in 275/60/20s (they're on sale there until 9/29), but they said they wouldn't install tires that much larger than stock tires on any vehicle. At best, I could buy them there, and have them installed elsewhere.

After that, I was still torn between the 275/60s, 285/60s and 275/65s. I was a little concerned about getting heavy E rated tires, so that eliminated the 285/60s (if I did go that way, I would've gone Toyo ATiii), and all but one 275/65 (only the Nitto Terra Grapler is a non-E rated tire in that size). I was a little nervous going to a 34'' tire, so ultimately stuck with the 275/60s.

Chose the Falken's based on reviews and talking to several tire people. They were also the best price. Discount matched the Sam's Club price of $190 each.

I'm very happy with 275/60s, but I'd love to see how the 275/65s look.

Awesome input. Are you happy with the Falkens? Or should I look Elsewhere?

I went with the Toyo AT3's 285/60R20 and really happy with them. No rub and fills up that empty space nicely, its 33.5 in height. Only issue was the spare tire holder, I had to remove the plastic piece that the tire sort of rests in, just above the bumper. The new tires were too wide to fit in there. No big deal though, can't even tell, brake light still there, and as I drive around and look at other JL's with upgraded tires, seems like most have done similar.

I really like the Falken Wildpeaks ATiii. They look great and ride great. I can't tell a difference between the ride quality or sound between them and the stock tires that I drove for 200 miles. Although, I really have no other comparison as I have never tried the KO2s, Toyos or Nittos.

While on the subject of bigger tires, what PSI is everyone doing for daily driver? Stock says 36, and thats what I stuck with when changing to the LT285/60R20 with an E load rating, but hearing low 40's may be more of the way to go for this size tire... Would love to hear if others are holding the recommended 36PSI from the stock tires?

I may have missed it, but has anyone figured out the offset/bs of the 20X8 stock wheel? Also, as I recall the front axle is wider than a stock Sahara.

Wonder if it's possible to push the width to 285/295 and the overall height to 33.5-34 - no lift - assuming there are AT tires in 20" that would yield that.
