Swapped out factory whip with a Ronin stubby.....and now I no longer have 75% of my Dallas market FM stations....awesome.
I was looking at aftermarket antenna, but most of the reviews that mention reception are negative.
That sucks. I guess I'll stick with the silver whip.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Those fenders look great on your JL! Was the install as hard as what I've been reading? I'm pretty good at fabricating things to work in a pinch and installing most auto related parts, but there seems to be quite a bit of grumbling over the install in some of the reviews I've read.

At any rate, they do look like a great fit, so your install must have went well :)

Nope real deal black spray paint. Painting is OK, as long as it's an RF-benign paint (i.e., no metallic pigment or base chemicals). I have not noticed any change in reception.
I used real high quality VHT epoxy and didn't hold up very well, ended up chipping off. Prepped it well, wiped down with Lacquer thinner, scotch-brite. Swapped it for a stubby which in my area works almost as good.

I clipped my AM/FM Antenna to 18" and wrapped it with black heatshrink yo to the ball, which I reattached to it with Epoxy. Then I just painted the ball black.

After getting my Jeep back from the steering TSB (HUGE improvement), I thought I would give the ol' Sport some DRLs

The Headlight Revolution Switchback kit is high quality, now coming with wire braiding and weatherproof plugs instead of bare wire you need to solder like seen in the install vids.

I just installed the bulbs which didn't seem to throw any codes and worked properly while using the blinker and went back to DRL, which the instructions said would only operate as blinkers until the resistor was installed or the computer was changed to LED DRLs.

I chose the latter with my Tazer mini.

Very happy with the look!

These are the bulbs if someone wants to go the same route and save a few bones

Just got mine!

Where are you all connecting it to on the bottom?
I wrapped mine around the front seatbelt so it’s kind of pulled forward and sits in the crease between the rear ac vents and front armrest. Not that it would, but i didn’t want it blocking any airflow for the rear ac.
