Axles are out. Gonna have to until Friday night now to get the tank and exhaust out.

All parts showed up except for one pair of long arms and another pair that need replaced under warranty. (Weld defect I didn’t like.)

Remember: Always inspect and inventory parts at the START, not when you NEED the parts.

Don't forget to go inside the Jeeps and yank the e-brake lever up and down while you have the cables disconnected from the hubs ;)

Booked a campsite at Morrow Mtn SP Campground this weekend; getting in late Friday. Was gonna pop over and hit the Uwharrie Trails on Saturday, probably mid-day until early evening. I'll have the kid with me so I think a half day is probably all she'll tolerate. Never been before, so if anyone is bored and wants to meet up I'd be happy to do so.

The only thing that got done on the Jeep today was the reinstallation of the lugnuts. Lol. This is why it has become a weekend project now. Can’t plasma cut anything with a kiddo around. Lol

Super proud Daddy. She’ll be a great person and the best mechanic she knows.

Next step, teaching her the importance of proper torque on each nut.

I've been working on teaching everyone this. Lol. There are some things that can go without a TQ value being applied, of course, but the majority of things have a designed TQ. It's a tough concept for some people to understand. Some that understand it, don't care, and just tighten shit until it's on the edge of destroying itself. I'm hoping to teach her how to judge what and when a TQ should be applied. If I can teach her the theory, needing the TQ wrench should be just another step into doing it right. I think we have a couple years though. LOL.

I remember getting the torque talk when Lawrence and I were over to do the suspension swaps. lol. It was actually a good learning experience working with you.

Nice. Thanks boys. @Taznc would love to hear what you're running.
Hey @mic.rempel, I have the Rock Krawler 3.0" X-Factor Stage 1 lift with 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers. So far, it has done great and I have been very pleased with it.

I’ve decided to part ways with my MOPAR beadlocks and will be throwing them up on the forum in the next week or so. I’ll have to wait until my new wheels come in before I sell the MOPARs. I’d rather sell local if possible, so I thought I’d throw it out there and see if anyone would be interested.

The wheels will come with the beauty rings and the functional beadlock rings. The beauty rings have some rock rash on them. The beadlock rings have a couple of small places on them (I wheeled one weekend with those rings.)

I don’t have any good pictures of my wheels at the moment, but I’ll take some over the next several days and post them.

Anything in particular that you didn't like about the wheels?

I love the wheels and I really don’t want to sell them. They look good, give the Jeep a good stance, allows your tires to protect your fenders when wheeling, recessed valve stems to protect them while off road.

The problem is the backspacing. I bought them under the assumption they were 4.4in (per all MOPAR documentation). We measured the backspacing (after reading reports that they were 5in) and determined they were in fact 5. They won’t work with the ST3 lift that is waiting to go on. As a result, I have to get wheels with backspacing closer to 4.75.

Gotcha. That is an annoying lesson to learn, but thanks for passing along the information.
