I didn't think they could make ugly look any worse ... and yet, here we are.

I agree, there is a lot of work into this, and a loss of function... maybe that's the point, to be a complete opposite of what these vehicles are made for. However, Aesthetically, I don't think that wranglers and gladiators lend well to this sort of look.

Exactly. I believe a project like this is all about artistic expression. I'll throw a "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" on this one.
