I really wanted to go with the 55 since it has a lot more space than the 45 considering we are a family of 4. I also have a cargo shelf which is why i need the slide. Do you have any picture of how tight it is on the back seat and the bump with the tailgate closed? if you were to lift the fridge and put it on a 1" block you would have zero chance of closing tailgate?
Probably would interfere with closing, as I also have the cargo mat along the back which eats up another 3/8". Removing the handles and NOT replacing them may give you the room needed.

I think its all worth the pain to make it work, the 55 gives a lot more room. Even though I though it was insignificant, I really love the ice maker (spiked lemonade never tasted so good) :).

Are you referring to the OEM cargo mat that adds some thickness to the back of the rear seat?

Sooooo. What you are saying is that there is a chance it may fit with a slide.

Hopelly you can get some pics behind the seat with the passenger side folded down as well as from the top of the tailgate.

Luckily Dometics are all out of stock till they fix the recall so i have some time before i pull the trigger.
It might fit, but it may need a custom slide shelf?
If you choose the 47, I'd check out the ZERO fridge too.

i was comparing the zero 47 / cfx3 45 & 55

I need as much space as possible above the fridge for a shelf so the 45 and 55 are the way to go since they are both over 1 " shorter than the ARB

the 45 and 35 are close in height just dont know about the 1" in length. I am amazed that the arb also draws less current than the dometic offerings.

any update on the Dometic issues and when they might start shipping out again? I’ve pretty much set my heart on the CFX3-55IM and would like it by September 10th or so...

Nice, I did the same thing with several units before I purchased.
Too many variables to keep track of in your head :)

Since Dometic has not sent out a recall notice to their customers yet, they probably do not have a firm date when the new version will be approved by the NTSB.

FYI looks like the dometics are back in stock on their own website.

Did they actually fix them yet? Read they were just sending out stickers saying do not plug in AC & DC at same time.

Hey Josh,
I have ordered the same combo(CFX3 45 fridge, DFG slider, AAL platform and shelf), only about a month later. I would like to hear how you will mount the DFG slider to the AAL MASS platform and any suggestions you might have. Cheers, thanks in advance.

Still waiting on the DFG fridge slide. Spoke with them and they said it should be shipping early next week. Also some of the hardware for my AAL Shelf went missing thanks to ups. AAL is sending out some new hardware to correct that issue. Once that is completed i will try and get everything installed. I Planned on just finding a good sport for the fridge slide and then mark it and drill the holes sine it will be more than stable bolting through aluminum.
