In the last week I have visited several off-road and Overland businesses. I was told from the beginning that I will need a different suspension than the stock one. From the 3 places that install lift kit and suspension, one suggested the;

TeraFlex 3.5 Inch Sport ST3 Suspension System with Falcon 2.1 Monotube Shocks - 1513321 with the

TeraFlex Falcon Nexus EF 2.1 Steering Stabilizer - 09-02-21-110-000

the other 2 quoted me for, I believe, 2 different BDS suspensions.

I tried looking at as many reviews and information as possible. I decided to go with the Teraflex, since I got a 10%. Unfortunately here in Canada, we don't get as many sweet deals like folks do in the United States.

What I am happy with is that, one of the shop, TJ Auto, that quoted me for a BDS suspension said that I could just purchase the lift and suspension and that he will install it. TJ Auto in Richmond is the place I got my 2.5" lift kit, wheels and tires. He provided me a courtesy car while doing the installation. Wheels, tires, lowering, leveling and lift kits and suspensions are his thing. Tyler is a big strong dude and should probably install the lift faster than most places.

I ordered the lift yesterday and should receive it in about a month.
I will try posting pictures of the lift out of the box and will definitely be posting the final results.

I got the ST2 kit with 3.1 shocks and the Teraflex adj. track bar. I might get the steering stabilizer also.

I will try my best. It will most likely take another 4 weeks before the suspension gets to Canada.
I ordered the ST3, adding TF sway bar quick disconnects, and decided to go with Fox 2.0 mono tube shocks. Interesting that I was able to get the Fox Shocks cheaper than Teraflex was selling the Falcon 2.1s.

Feedback from my installer was that the install was eventless. Everything came together and the fit for the components was perfect, with no alterations necessary...not even for small potential issues such as misaligned holes, etc.

My installer will/can put any lift you buy and bring to him on your vehicle. He does not sell any particular brand...you buy it, bring it o him, and he charges you labor. My point — he sees a lot. He was very impressed with the quality of the springs and “it drives like a dream and no alignment is necessary at all.” I have now driven (on/off road and on hwy at speed >50 mph)...it drives like a dream! I am VERY happy with the outcome.

Note — I have initially gotten about 4-4.5 inches, but Teraflex is known to settle after install and with additional weight. This was a factor in my decision to go with the ST3 Vs. ST2. I intend pin using for off-roading and want plenty of room in my fenders for articulation.

With this lift, I can fit 37s...35s with no regearring...I chose 34s. Primarily because I went with a narrow “pizza cutter” style tire and options in the size 35 tires are minimal for the 7.5 inch Mopar MOAB rims that I chose. I went with the BFG AT/KO2 size 34x10.5x17. It measures at 33.6 inches (manufacturer website) and +/-32.75 inches mounted on my JL (typical mounted size loss). The size 35s I found that would give me a similar “pizza cutter” style were the Nitto Grappler Trail Grappler MT size 35x11.5x17 (inch wider). The Nitto tire measures at 34.76 inches (manufacturer website) and actual mounted size of 33 1/8 inches...<1/2 inch difference true diameter from the tire I chose. How disappointing to buy a size 35, only to lose almost two inches from advertised size.

I am really happy with the In person results and how it all came together. Adding a few pics.

Very very nice. I might get the quick disconnect now that you mentioned it. I love the pictures.
