Hiw have you enjoyed the ride? I guess all tires are pretty good the first 5-10k miles, but what are your thoughts so far?
Too early to tell. But no issues so far. I have a hard time being bugged by the sound of Mud tires, so I been good with them

In case anyone is still wondering. I just installed a 37X13.5X17 Discoverer STT Pros on my stock JLUR on stock wheels and stock suspension with no lift and they work fine for daily driving. All i did was install wheels spacers and they work fine no rubbing on full turns. I have to say though that i have not gone off road, but i think for light off roading it will work. it really looks good and im liking the low profile aggressive stance. i have ordered a lift but im thinking of running the way it is setup first and see how it works before installing the lift.

Thanks for this post, I just got a set of Treps 37x13.5x17 and I was wondering about the need for spacers with my stock rims.. And those things are cheap either (~250 for 4), I may just buy another set of Methods 101 bead locks and be done with it..

Say what you want to me I don't care 25 psi on that narrow of a wheel on that wide of a tire wow. Lot of people would never do it there's more people not doing then doing it I can assure you that. lots of people like the stock wheel including myself why do you think so many people just about everyone goes and buys new wheels. Because they hate the stock wheel NO. Or maybe it's not worth the risk say what you want butbut ther not too many people doing it for a reason. But 25 psi I don't run that on a E rated tire if you're running a D
Just a data point, When I bought my Maxxis Creepy's I called the engineers at Maxxis, "due to the light weight of the JL, they recommend 22-25 PSI max on a 37x12.5x17" for either rim types (locked or not). So that is what i do for the highway. No issues, bed lock or not, when hit deep snow, I run 5 psi (no bulge), rocks i run at 8psi, so it really depends on the tire.. You would not get away with these pressures with a BFG or Pats.. Maxxis have a 1" bead pack and side wall.

BFG AT i have run 15psi with no issues on stock rims, but your right, I have rolled BFG tires off the bead at 12PSI.. but not Maxxis, totally different animal. and of course 37 psi for highway as recommended by both BFG and Jeep.

Just my 2 cents and experiences.. (not judging)..

Just put a 2.5” spacer lift and 37x12.50r17 Yokohama x-mt’s on the stock wheels. Go rhino spare tire relocation bracket with Mopar hinge reinforcement kit. Haven’t measured the tires yet, but they must run bigger than some of these other tires. The rubbed on the front bumper lower skid plate when turning on the factory steel bumper. Pulled the plate and trimmed the back corners. No rubbing at ride height now. Heading to Moab tomorrow so we shall see if I need spacers. I love all the tire experts out there. I’ve been told if you run less than 20 psi at speed you will damage the tires, guess those Baja and KOH guys have magic tires?
I’ve run 14.50 wide pit bull rockers on 8” wide wheels without an issue, I’m pretty sure these 12.50’s aren’t going to eject over the bead lip? Do people not understand that too big a rim is far more failure prone than a smaller rim?

Many people on here don't understand this. 12.5 on an 7.5"wide rim will actually act as a poor man's beadlock. I have run my 37" 12.5" patts at 10psi with no issues.

You will most def need spacers. I added spydertrax 1.75 spacers and I still rub at articulation when offroading.

2,500 mile road trip to moab and back. Fins & things, hell's revenge, top of the world, poison spider, golden spike, gold bar rim, and gemini bridges without issue. 500 of those miles were in and around moab, both on and off road at 18-19 psi because I hate airing up and down. Tires grip amazingly well, walked right up the waterfall on gold bar. No bead issues, rolled smooth at 27 psi the 1,000 miles home. Good thing I don't listen to internet experts for wheel/tire decisions?

I've been running around with 37x12.50R17 Yokohama M/T G003s. They are rubbing something while turning but I haven't looked to see what it's hitting. It's my wife's DD and it's dark now when she gets home.
I'm considering adding 1.25" spacers from Bora, the plan is to rock crawl on the weekend like I did for many years in my TJ.

Ours rubbed on the sway bar with 37's, 1.5" spacers fixed that.

Have you adjusted your steering stops yet? You’ll need to find a place to cycle the suspension to the bump stops and turn the wheels left to right and adjust the steering stops to where they need to be. It won’t be much but it will rub until it is adjusted. Unless you like the look, there is zero reason to run spacers.

No I haven’t adjusted them yet.
The trails around here require a lot of articulation, are you have any rubbing issues other than steering.
I adjusted my steering stops on my 2006 TJ Rubicon. I was using the stock Rubicon wheels, 1.25” spacers and still needed to limit turning.
I’m and old school fan of stock Rubicon wheels with larger tires ;)

We have the same need for articulation here as you would imagine. I don’t have any rubbing anymore. I removed my rear bumper and heated up and reformed the plastic on the inner fender well, behind the tire. Not much at all. That’s the only rubbing I experienced. The front is all taken care of with steering stops. Heres a couple pics of mine with the adjustment. A couple are with my 4 door. Same setup.

All these are at their max bumpstop and turned as tight as you can go. You can adjust more or less but I have put this thing is some crazy positions and it’s fined tuned and performs flawlessly.

Yeah without an aftermarket bumper you will rub...I have an Arcus and stock wheels with no spacers on 37/12.5/17 KM2s and just adjusted my steering stops a few turns and it’s perfect...save the ball joints some pressure 😆
