Just got my Jeep back from the shop. Here are a few photos. Had door handles, side mirrors, antenna base, and fuel cover all painted to match the body. I think I’m going to take it back in to get the hood latches, and the windshield rest/solution sprayers to match the body as well, since I don’t think I will ever put the windshield down.

They thought I should do the side vents too, but I think I like them black. Opinions?

How much does it cost to paint the fenders vs buying them painted?

Lol, yeah I banged it up good. Going down Old Sluice you can see it bow when I hit the rock, then it straightens back out.

Got mine about 5 weeks ago. Waiting for my LOD sliders. Soft top next summer. “Winter is coming” so far only things I have done is mollie bags in back for work and added the 4 Baja squads.

I love it. It’s just such a fun truck. I have always owned pickups and larger SUV’s and never ever had an urge like I had to buy stuff for them like I do with this Jeep!

It’s not going to a a crazy rock crawling rig like so many awesome builds here. It’s going to be spending its time pulling a river boat and sitting down on the river while we fish. I do want to find some trails where I love to get it out on. All you guys live in such awesome areas.

Yes. I use auto deflators to go from factory 36 to 19 pounds.
Our sand is soft and fluffy so I also put her in 4Lo which disables traction control.
4lo also keeps engine rpm’s up to allow for better motor and tranny cooling.

2 questions.

1. How are u attaching ur chairs?
2. How do u know how much air to let out when driving on sand? Does it matter if sand is soft or packed? We surf fish every year in topsail NC and I deff want to drive the southern inlet and fish it with my Jeep next summer.

That’s exactly what my buddy who has had multiple jeeps over the years has said to me.

I have his wheels spinning. He hasn’t had a Jeep in a bunch of years just lifted fords and rams. But I know it’s going through his head now. He loves the new Jeep. Lol
