Well, I finally found a set and couldn't be happier! My one surprise was that I swore I read the Rubicon tires were about 3/4" taller than the Sahara. Putting side by side, my Sahara tire is actually just a hair taller than the Rubi's... Perhaps what I saw was a comparison to a Sport tire? Thanks to all who posted!

My rubi rim is 32.83" and sahara AT was 32.28" on my tazer. Not sure why yours is the opposite. Rubi rims look great on a sahara. I lost about 1mpg though.

Put Moab wheels and 33” KO2’s on my Sahara, same size as Rubi wheels n tires, slightly larger and much better stance. I seem to remember doing a tire size calculator, and the 17” with 33’s are almost an inch larger diameter and more than an inch wider than the stock Sahara.

Looks great. Nice color choice The 33s fill in the wells nicely. Can the Sahara's do 35s without a lift, or will the fronts rub? I almost went Sahara, over Rubi, for the LSD in snow. But now that I'm well into off-roading in the Rubi, I appreciate the crawling ability/lockers, etc.

Thanks, not sure if 35s will fit stock. Never looked into it as 33s are it for me.

I put Rubicon 33” take-offs on our Granite Crystal Sahara as well. Same experience as others: Roughly 1” larger diameter and roughly 1 mpg increase to fuel consumption.

I also added AirLift bags to rear springs which have been a perfect solution when loaded up. The camping pics below show nearly zero sag with 1,000 pounds of gear in the vehicle. Without the AirLift bags, I was getting about 2” of sag.

Transformed the look of the Jeep in my opinion. Before and after pics:

Thanks to everyone in this thread for sharing photos. Made my decision to upgrade wheels/tires so much easier. Just had these put on today. Here's the before and after. I'm super happy with the results.

I think the sahara with the 18" wheel package is slightly taller than the 17" combo. It's something like just under 32", 32" and just under 33" though so not much difference between the 3 sizes.

Yeah that is what I was thinking 32's on the sahara and 33's on the rubicon but with a tape measure, they are probably closer than that inch. Tire rack has them listed at 32 for the sahara and 32.8 for the Rubi.
