How you liking the RG's? I also have that on my JLUR and they've been great so far. My uncle's Patagonia's are noticeably quieter and softer too, so I'm considering that for my next set. Also them being available in 38s is swaying me in that direction.

Also can't wait for more impressions from you on the KM3's, I hear these are great tires as well.
I love the Ridge Grapplers so far. They are way better on road than the Falcon M/T, and have done everything I have needed off-road they have worked well. I for sure put them to the test. I shredded my old KO2s, and my Falcon also got tore up pretty good.

The Mopar carrier had no adjustments and with 0 offset, the tire was a bit too far away from the tailgate. Off it goes...

The MetalCloak carrier is very adjustable and looks cool too.

High and tight, the carrier makes me feel better about the 35's while giving me the option to carry a 37.

Love it.

Recall Update: V41 and W12 completed.

AUTONATION CHRYSLER JEEP WEST

Golden, CO 80401-3855

I had to go back again because the last appointment they didn't have the parts. This time though, they got everything taken care of and the clutch checked out fine. Good piece of mind.

They always take care of my Jeep and it wasn't molested in any way. Positive experience at this dealership makes it easy to recommend.

@Krondor - how's the change from the D rated Pats to the E rated KM3s? These are on my short list when my Pats where out. Thanks!
The KM3's are a bit louder, feel more comfortable on the road, and much more grip off road so far.

I liked the Pats in snow, but will have to see with the KM3's. I think you will be pleased.

D'oh! It's right there in their mounted pictures too.
Just ordered a tank with the drivers side mount. Seeing how little space there is on your passenger side mount, how does this fit on the drivers side with the wiper module??

Shouldn't be a problem at all. The mount tilts the tank slightly so the bottom will not hit your lines if that's what you are asking? The wiper module is on the glass and more toward the center.

How’s the passenger side mount? Does everything clear the view through the window for the driver position? Thinking of blind spots.

Not much worse than the sport bar it sits behind.

Capitol Peak

Jeep Wrangler JL Colorado Adventures Continued (Punk'n JLR) IMG_8484.JPG

A long hike in to what many agree is a beast of a mountain. Beautiful area though and enjoyable on the Alpine Loop without getting up into the crumbly stuff. I'll be back for more hikes in this area.

We made camp just below tree line the first day.

Jeep Wrangler JL Colorado Adventures Continued (Punk'n JLR) IMG_9189.JPEG

While we refilled our water supply and ate dinner, you get a view of Capitol. Marmots will be there to greet you, as well as a few chipmunks.

Jeep Wrangler JL Colorado Adventures Continued (Punk'n JLR) IMG_9200.JPEG

Starting early is always a must on these to avoid weather in the afternoon. Helmet required for this one.

The fires make for gloomy evenings, but sunset and sunrise take on a new glow. Thankfully the air was fairly clear as we made our ascent.

Jeep Wrangler JL Colorado Adventures Continued (Punk'n JLR) IMG_9226.JPEG

Coming out of the boulder field and you get a look at K2, Colorado's 13er with a lot of exposure.

Took our time up here. The camera never does them justice.

Jeep Wrangler JL Colorado Adventures Continued (Punk'n JLR) IMG_9238.JPEG

The knife edge was as solid as reported, a welcome relief after the lose K2 approach.

Jeep Wrangler JL Colorado Adventures Continued (Punk'n JLR) IMG_8505.JPG

Not a lot of opportunities for taking pictures while climbing to the summit, but some few after we got there.

Pictures of the Jeep next time. Ouray and Moab are still a must visit before snow flies.
