Any downside to installing .5 spacers front and rear?
Not really.
Just like with any lift, additional height will marginally decrease caster.
It will make your axle marginally more off center.
Neither of these should be significant with .5". I did 3/4" spacers.

So I totally didn’t measure before or after my dad was quick to lift it on the 4 post before i found a tape measure.

But the best that i have for reference is before and after photos parked next to a stock rubi.
My jeep is also as tall as my dads gladiator which i believe has a tow package of sorts since it sits pretty much even with my jeep now.

I’ve got the rubi springs and shocks, mopar lift LCA and metalcloak durospring bumpstops. I gotta say the jeep rides pretty good, definitely better than stock sport springs and shocks. It’s a little more firm but it soaks bumps much better.

this is before the lift, i used the mirrors as reference points

Nice... First time I am seeing a modified Sport side by side a Rubicon like that. The suspension really makes a difference.

It didn’t seem like it would be much; a 1.5in gain. But it’s a subtle difference. Super stoked with the height now and next up is rubi flares and some 35s.

So I installed just the rubicon shocks on my hardtop/tow package Sport;

Before- Front 36 1/4 and rear 36 1/2

After- Front 36 3/4 and rear 37 1/4

Spring P/n;
Front 57/58 Rear 87/88

For me this is a perfect balance of street drivability and off roaf capability.

Old post but do you recall what the numbers of the Rubi springs are?

The last digits of the part number is the load indicator. In that instance, he used 57 and 58 in the front, and 87/88 in the rear. That's on the softer end of the spectrum. I had 61/62 and 91/92 on my JLUR.

If you want the highest lift and sag resistance, look for a set off a 4-door that came from the factory with the hardtop/steel bumpers/tow package combo. And regardless of the numbers, the lower one always goes on the driver side.

I followed the directions on rubitrux and ended up putting the 91 RD and the 90 RP. Crap

My JLUR is a soft top, tow package, plastic bumpers, 3.6 engine. My front springs are 60 right, 59 left. I am installing the Mopar front steel bumper and a JCR Offroad skid plate. No plans for a winch anytime soon. Anyone have experience with this setup to know what spring numbers will level out the front end in the event of sag?

I am adding takeoff rubicon suspension from a 2020 JLUR in a couple weeks. I have everything pictured. Do I need anything else or should I be all set. I’m having a shop install it because I don’t have a clue how to and don’t have the time to learn. I am also thinking of adding the 3/4” daystar spacers. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

The shocks and springs are the only parts that are different between the Rubicon and the Sport. Don't waste your money having the shop replace anything else as there will be no change.

Since you asked, I would also recommend installing Mopar lift LCAs ($60) on the front for additional castor.

The stock LCAs for the Rubicon and Sport are the same part.
The Mopar lift kit includes slightly longer LCAs.
Do you think I will notice a difference? Will it tighten up the steering(less wandering)?

Mopar lift LCAs a are 0.25" longer and will help it track straighter. There are several other things that can cause wander.
