Just finishing my install of the tire carrier -so far so good. Not perfectly satisfied with the tailgate alignment but I will play with that later on. I am waiting for the truss bolts from vendor since they didnt come in the box, so I used the original hardware for now, so when the proper bolts arrive I can fine tune the alignment. Any pro tips would be appreciated!
My main issue now is the install of the side mount rotopax bracket. Anyone do that yet? there are a pair of bump stop bolts that are threaded into the bracket to help hold it on the TC and cushion the side of the rotopax container. There are also two sets of holes to mount the rotopax mount on the bracket. When I use the outer pair of holes, so the container sits farther away from the bracket when loaded, the bump stop screws cant reach the side of the container, it is too far away. When i use the pair of holes closer to the Jeep, the container site too close and the bump stop screws stick out too far into the container.
Instructions very vague and not much help on this. . . .
