I just submitted "Bootleg Creek" for a new BOH trail. It is located in Stony Lonesome OHV Park.
"The Bootleg Creek Trail travels from a pine forested ridge into a mature Appalachian hardwood forest along Bootleg Creek. This boulder strewn creek provides ample opportunities for light rock crawling and many lines to choose from. Although lockers are not required, it is recommended that Jeeps have 35” tires and 2” of lift. Rock rails are strongly suggested." This is how I described it for the submission.
If anyone else likes this trail, please email [email protected] and support the nomination.
Additionally, there are two other BOH trails listed in Stony Lonesome, Gut Buster and Switchback to Who's Your Daddy. Gut Buster is not passable by anything but a rock bouncer, it used to be but not anymore. And Switchback to Who's Your Daddy does not exist, either on the maps or when asking the park management. So if you're planning a trip to SL understand that you're only going to be able to get one Badge (Trail 404), and that trail is pretty lame.
