Chicago Area trails?

My wife and I are a couple of weeks from ordering our first JLUR. New to the Jeep family completely. The optimistic parts of us say we will take delivery before the end of summer.
What are your guys must see trails within a days travel of the Chicago area? We are looking to start loosely planning some trips before 2020 is over. I wish we lived in Cali or AZ!

The Badlands in Attica Indiana are open. Been there a few times and it has everything you would want.

There is the TWAT (Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail) - 600 miles across WI, but pretty tame, there is Tigerton - 500 acres north of Madison w great campgrounds, & the 7 hour plane crash trail in the UP - next on my list to do!

You should join the Windy City Jeep Force on Facebook. They are a Chicago area club that has a few outings a month and was very welcoming to me as a newbie. They mostly go to Badlands for outings, but also do social and philanthropic events
