Has anyone had issues with XM radio with a roof rack installed? Mine seems to cut in/out more than before installing the roof rack. It looks like the bars for the rack sit right over the antenna puck and there is nothing I can do there but live with it.

Just wondering if I'm alone here...

@Plongson

Actually, what you are experiencing is a problem many/most experience if they have a sizeable roof rack on their JL.

You can pretty easy, inexpensively, relocate the XM receiver to an area on the JL, that will not impact XM reception.

There are forum posts and or threads talking the relocation of the XM receiver..

I experienced interference last time I had my rack on and fully loaded. I didnt worry about it becuase It was just an hour drive to where I was camping and I remove the rack when I dont need it.
