Looks like a great place a first run!
It was. This was my wife's first trip to Moab. Spring Canyon starts with spectacular cliffs as you work your way down into the canyon...that freaked her out a little.

That will likely be an axle seal leak. I had that with my YJ a couple of times. It looked like grease, too, but turned out to be gear lube. Easy fix for the dealership. They have probably done many of them over the years.
Yea, I wiped it down real good and then checked the level off oil in the diff and it wasnt overfilled or anything, but was about a 1/2 inch under the fill hole. Drove a solid 60 mile highway trip and then checked when I got home and it’s definitely weeping out of the tube again. And since I saw it fresh, I could see (and smell) that it is definitely gear lube. Calling the local dealer now and hoping they can have what they need on hand before I drop it off :fingerscrossed:

She's pretty awesome and is a fan of Jeeps, too; couldn't be more proud.
We were visiting my daughter and her fiancé in Scottsdale. We went to Sedona and ran Broken Arrow and Schnebly Hill. She was quite nervous as a passenger on Broken Arrow. She finally took a turn behind the wheel on Schnebly and it took all of 10 seconds for "this is FUN!!"

Her fiancé drove on Broken Arrow and took to it like a duck to water:

What part of Chicago is that?
Lol, if only! That's Moab.

It's a trail that is super scenic, very easy. Spring Canyon Bottom is the name. You can find it in the Well's Moab trail book.

God damn that's a perfect Jeep! That'll be worth a ton of money one day, Bikini + Recon. That's one rare spec!
Thanks man. I found it at a dealer in KY. Someone had custom ordered it and didn't pick it up.

One more pic, this time with my home built trailer. I was excited to find that the hitch worked perfectly even with the spare tire. I still need to do a slight modification to give me more clearance on the trailer suspension, but otherwise, this setup is ready to go!
