Hi All,

Our first Jeep. After a lot of delays, I finally got my new JLU Altitude. Dealer had installed the Mopar 2in lift and added the LH2 sales code for the Aux switches that I will install next week. She came with the stock wheels and tires (255/70-18) which made it 46 miles to Discount Tire to fill the wells with 295/70-18 Nitto’s. I went ahead and did all five only to find out the spare will need the relocation bracket. ‍♂

This is my first build, suggestions welcomed.

As soon as I got home, I had to install the Rough Country side bars so the wife could get in.

Congrats on getting a great rig.
Future plans?
Goals? (e.g., mostly DD, mild trails, rock crawling, etc.)?

Thanks. It is going to be the wife’s daily driver but we will definitely be hitting the trails. Maybe some mild rock but who knows, it’s my first Jeep.

Right now I am in the process of changing to all LED lighting. Looking at new bumpers and winch options. With the downturn in passenger loads I have a bit more extra time on my hands.

One bit of advice...
Buy good stuff.
Too much stuff is cheap and its is junk
There some stuff that is $ and it is still junk.
For bumpers and other components, names like Artec, Rock Krawler, Next Venture, make good stuff.

For winches, I only go with Warn. Because when you need a winch, it cannot fail. Warranties are useless on the trail.

I appreciate the advice. I do plan to buy good stuff. The little bit of savings is definitely not worth the headache down the road or trail.

Looks really good - I am on the fence between red and yellow.
