I replaced an electrical component in the rear diff that was causing a Service Axle Locker warning light.
Hi Ted, I read in another thread where you were having problems purchasing a replacement sensor. Where did you finally locate one?

Later,
Johnny

I did not locate one. I bought a new axle assembly, pulled the sensor out of the new axle and put it in my current axle and fixed the problem. Jeep will not sell the sensor so now I have a $1961.00 paper weight in my garage.

Dang Ted, that's an expensive fix for a small problem. But, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Especially when you have a trip of a lifetime coming up.

Brought it in to repair bubbling front driver and passenger door hinges, and repair a scratch that happened when the shop was working on a CANBUS issue.

I'd snatch it up if:
  1. I was able to get there - until March I was though Lansing every couple of weeks on the way to Holland.
  2. I had the immediate cash. Takeoffs at wreckers are about 2k CAD right now.

Big brown truck just dropped off my LOD Destroyer shorty rear bumper............... Having gone through the unpacking process twice already with my front bumper and rock sliders, I decided to go in a different direction for unpacking this time.......

One thing LOD has been consistent with for any product they've shipped to me, is that it takes longer to get through the packaging than it does to install the damn thing! :)

by the way - one little trick - start threading the screws on the top plastic half before setting it back into position so you don’t have to squeeze your hands in there to get the screws in place (the front right is impossible to do without this method).

I had a K&N I replaced with the severe-duty aFe this spring. I don't feel like I've taken a hit, and I like that it filters particulates batter.
