I keep a small but very strong magnet in the glove box just in case somebody spills a box of nails or something it'll be easy to pick up (actually happened, and that's what prompted me to get the magnet) and a window breaker/seat belt cutter and that's it for like emergency tools. I also keep a hair brush in the glove box (Jeep hair and I do care:giggle: ) and in the back cargo space, I keep my hammock, cuz, ya never know when you might need/want to relax :like:

Preparedness is key:

Knife And small multi tool
Machete
Tow strap
Recovery hitch
Headlamp
Flashlight x 2
Tool kit
Gloves
Emergency blanket
Poncho
First aid kit
Tourniquet
Pen and paper
Chapstick
Chewing gum
$$$
Water
Napkins
Tire pressure gauge
9mm

Currently I have my panel bag in the back, I switch it out for warm clothes when the weather changes.

I have found I have used almost all but the emergency blanket or poncho before. Yes, including the 9mm...i live on a farm and it's for strays, wild animals, snakes etc...plus self preservation

FYI, all fits in rear tub or center console. The small tool kit goes under the back seat.

I’d consider swapping out those jumper cables for a mini portable battery jump pack. Not only makes you self sufficient, but jumper cables are dangerous with today’s computer cars.
@Hammer_NC

Dollars to donuts you will not get the JL, jump started with a battery pack. Only a slight chance... I don't care how good your battery pack is. Best bet is to have jumper cables for a chance..

We are talking JL here....
