What is the difference between the Rubicon and the Recon Rubicon?

The Recon has the 2.0L with E-Torque, red seatbelts, red stitching on dash, the Mopar Performance rock rails with step assist, steel bumper group, bumper hoop, LED lighting, black grille, special decals and badging, Mopar heavy duty tire carrier.

The Recon is a Rubicon with the 2.0 eTorque engine (which I’m really liking). That engine isn’t available on Rubicons otherwise. At least for 2020.

It also has red seatbelts, black grille, Mopar grille guard, tailgate reinforcement, rock rails, and leather dash (love that).

My dealership is getting in a White Recon with everything soon, should I go and trade in my Grand Cherokee for it? I've become obsessed with Recons.

Yep!!! Give it a good test drive first to make sure it steers properly. I think the white looks amazing as a Recon.

No problem at all, I was wondering why there wasn't a Recon thread. Maybe I'll go call the dealer tomorrow and see.

I'll make sure, I love the softness of my Grand though, I might wait for the 2021 Recons if they make them, or I'll just get a fully loaded one, I don't know yet.

They won’t make one. At least not until end of year like they did with 2020 Recon. I’d look at the 2021 options and unless you want something only offered on 2021, nab a 2020 Recon.

FYI I aired down to 34ish and it steers nicely. At 44ish (from dealer) it was a bit darty and I drive some fast two lane/both way roads. Now I’m totally satisfied and feel safe as can be.
