Jeep Wrangler JL Is there a market for the factory OEM soft top ? 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL

I am brand new to this site and an even newer Jeep owner, I pick up my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL on Monday and want to know if there is a market for the factory OEM soft top as I am putting a Bestop Trektop NXT top on it next week. Are there folks out there looking for an OEM soft top and if so, what is a decent asking price?

Also putting Nitto Terra Grappler 285 X 70 X 17 s on it with new rims, is a 2" lift enough? Any recommendations?

Thanks for your help!

I would say absolutely there is a market for soft tops!! I have seen prices range anywhere from 1800 to 1000...also they are usually only sold locally as the expense of shipping could get costly. Last.... make sure you state in your post if it is a premium twill top (more money) or regular and whether the windows are tinted. These distinctions actually make a difference to some. As I'm sure you know adjust price for age and use and any blemishes etc...

I hope there is! I have a one day old Twill soft top with tinted windows for sale in the Colorado Springs, Co. area. Fits the 4 door Unlimited model. Perfect condition with an additional brand new soft top storage bag. I'm asking $1800 for everything. About $500 in savings over new.

Funny enough, even FCA will buy it back from you....

...well not exactly but sort of.

You see, that hard or dual or power top you get from the factory instead is suppose to reflect a reduced price from fair market value for the fact that you are "surrendering" back to FCA the base soft top that comes with the rig, for them to use on another build.

Do you give the $200 discount like Mopar does?

Thanks. I did list it in the for sale section. I saw this thread and I thought I would post it here also. Gee-pah, I agree with you on FCA's hardtop / soft top math.

Your second question, yes, 2” is enough for those tires. Enjoy the ride!

I paid $1200 for mine. Very lightly used. In Jersey. Was very happy to find it not too far away. Absolutely a market for these. In fact I think they sell fast if your not over priced.
