Are the DRLs supposed to be always "on" as shown in this pic from the seller? In other words, are the DRLs an integral part of both the low beam and the high beam? Thanks.

If you wire the DRLs to the fuse box, they will always be on when the vehicle is running. They are not tied to the low or high beams.

Just a word of caution. Check you optics/projectors when the lights are on at night. Mine looked liked someone smeared greasy fingers all over them and were essentially defective. You can see pics in my post on the previous page in this thread.

Thx. That was the first thing I checked. Mine are clear.

Just got my Kiwi 9" today via Amazon. Installed and tied both the left and the right into one wire then ran it to the fuse box and tapped into fuse 58. Everything went smoothly and the Halo's do look great. I also have to say that the adjustable screws they put do help a lot to adjust. I"ll have to wait till evening to do this but I can see that you can move the light fairly easily by adjusting the spring loaded screw. Excuse a couple pics with the plastic still on the headlight.

Did the lights come with enough extra wire to link up the drivers side to the passenger side and then run to the fuse box for the DRL? If not what type of wire should I purchase?? I just ordered them and going to try and install on my 2020 JL is that does not have DRL.

Way more than enough wire was provided.

If you intend to connect the Halo to the Fuse Box, you'll need an Add - a - Fuse. Beyond that, I believe the wire included is enough to reach.

Has anyone found a nice set of foglights to match these headlights?

The model 3 just became available again on Amazon and I decided to give them a shot. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the result, especially given the price point.

sorry for the crappy pictures, I’m stuck in the garage right now. Will be testing them outside and aiming them this weekend.

Sorry for this dumb question... Thinking about the Kiwi Master halo wiring. There is only one wire which is run to the battery or aux switch. Shouldn't there also be a ground?

The Halo grounds through the headlight ground. Hook that one wire up to a switched positive and that’s it. A lot use a micro fuse tap and tap into the heated seats fuse, f57 in the fuse box. Hooked up that way they turn on when the Jeep is started.

Wanted to give an update...I noticed a bit of (faint) flickering from these. I ended up purchasing a JSCAN license, security bypass cable and OBDII tool, and switched everything to LED. They’re perfect now, no flicker.

Installed mine yesterday, sorry no pics. So far with all the screws tightened all the way I am getting flashed by other cars so will have to adjust down a little. Overall though the difference is great. I can actually see off of the sides of the road and deer are a real threat where I live so its a great upgrade, especially for the price.

Thanks to this thread for the input and the install help. Took me around an hr. to do the headlights and 15 mins to do the fogs.

Has anyone found a nice set of foglights to match these headlights?
These are the fogs I got. Same supplier (KIWI) and the "blue" tint is close so pretty good. Let me know if the link doesn't work. Will try to post pics later.
