Have both?

Wish i had a rubi soi could run some 37s. Eventually id like to grab some take off axles and make the jump. May only use the 37s for off road days and 35s or 33s for DD.

you could keep your stock 33s for DD duty and throw on the 37s when you go hit the trails. If its not a dd rig then just leave em on and enjoy. Worth the capability and looks alone, mpg be damned!
I'm thinking about doing the reverse. Run 37's with no lift on the street, and switch back to the 285/70r17's for offroading.

I've been running 37s and no lift for months on the street. Honestly, its no fun unless you are by yourself and maybe one other passenger max. Any more than that and I start rubbing in the rear. Yes, there are people who've modded their rear inner fenders, but I'm too lazy...

For those looking at the 35 vs 37 tire dilemma I actually went back to my set of 35 stt pros (315s to be precise) for the last 3 months and I don’t regret going back to 35s. In fact I love driving my jeep again on the road. Mine was mostly a dedicated off-road rig so I loved the 37s Bc they actually do make a big difference off road for rock crawling. BUT 35s on a 2.5” lift is very capable for rock crawling still. Bc of the winter and I have no interest in wrecking my jeep on snow laden rock trails I’ve decided to go back to 35 inch tires for the winter and commute to work in the JL.

with 37s I found on the paved road imperfections my jeep was steering me not me steering the jeep. It was sluggish, imprecise with turns and felt almost unstable at times in turns Cooper STT pros inflated to 30 psi cold. Again this is on pavement. For now I’m not selling the tires and beadlock wheels as summer is approaching and likely I’ll keep going back and forth at least for the rest of the year.

I personally don’t think 35s on a 2.5” lift looks too small. And I didn’t lose too much doing moderate rock crawling.

hope this helps some of you all deciding between the two sizes

Anyone have good comparison pics of their Jeep or another with 35’s vs 37’s? I mean good as in same wheels, same spot for the pic or at least comparable?

I just swapped my 35's for 37's last week. Different wheels but similar shots

Sold and switched to the accutune 2.5” lift, it’s ok. Bc of the fox 2.5” shocks it’s for sure better but not mind blowing

For JLUR owners running 37s, I’d love to hear your experience regarding brakes. Did you notice a big difference in stopping power when switching from stock 33s to 37s? If so, have you upgraded your braking system at all?
Appreciate the feedback.

I have 37’s and braking is fine to me. I didn’t go from stock straight to 37’s though. I had 35’s for a short time.

The thread should have been "do you regret 35s". I tried telling people don't waste your money on 35s you'll be pissed for not going with 37s.

Glad I decided to go from stock 33s straight to 37s.

Edit: I went 37s as my Jeep is primarily used for what it was designed to do. If this was my main vehicle used for carting my family back and forth to the mall then 35s would have been the better choice.

Im going 35’s but not until i need new tires, or hit the lotto. Can’t see making the change yet.
37’s look hip but I could never get into my garage with the added height.

you must have a small old garage. I have a standard size height garage door and my jeep with 37's and at least 3" of lift fits in my garage

I’ve been on 37’s since new in early 2018, I’m at 21000 miles now. Running KO2’s... Lifted 3.5”, it handled ok with the stock steering components but handleS outstanding with a full steersmarts upgrade. Next month I’ll upgrade to the PSC hydro assist along with RCVS. My buddy has already done the install on his and it’s awesome and “relatively” easy to do if you’re mechanically incline. So, answer to the question is NO I do not regret 37’s, when these KO2’s are done I’ll step to 40’s. :)
