If you are anti chinese stuff these days (not judging, some are), please send the gift card to me and I will dispose of it properly at my nearest HF.
It may go towards the new Apex Winch they sell! I’m not against it and love HF. I have many tools from them as depending on the situation, do just find for the occasional use.

What I meant was, so many things to choose from, what do I choose!

10mm sockets, always buy more of these, cars feed on them.

I'm using the ones I made myself in high school metal shop (remember when they had that?). My step dad also has a set I made. So far I havent been squashed and my 15 year olds welding skills are better than mine ever were!

I once saw some stands that had a screw to raise them. I would think that would be a lot more safe. Anyone know if they are called something different than the generic "jack stands"?

Three months ago I bought a set of 6-ton jack stands from HF. But, they weren't the Pittsburgh brand. I got them home and didn't like the way the locking blade aligned and sure enough when I put pressure on them they slipped. Yikes! Returned them telling the cashier they were dangerous and unsafe to sell. Bought some double-locking Big Red 6-ton on Amazon instead. Much safer.

I took my recalled jack stands in this past weekend to HF and the moment I walked in the young lady said; “recall? I’ll help you.” In less than a minute I had a gift card for $42.

Not to be overly contrarian but 11 non-fatal failures of the tens of thousands sold...

Having said that, here is what I use.
Do you remember what brand these are? I have been wanting stands like this for a while. But after 5.2 minutes on google couldn't find anything.
