I just bought a set of these from Quadratec, but they are back ordered. I bought them because they have more coverage than most, even the Mopar versions.
Hi Robert - I appreciate your feedback, Thank you! Very helpful.

I have been reading up on these and I saw a guy write that he removed his door sill guards for some reason, and underneath the two front guards there was water trapped under the length of both of them on the sill. I have also read that these can interfere with the door seals and allow water intrusion in the cab.

Thoughts on that?

Seen some complaints about sealing and wind noise.

On my last vehicle I just bought some black 3M vinyl wrap and covered the sills. Was pretty easy and lasted until I sold the car. Took them off before selling it and the underneath still looked brand new.

Now, once they arrive, will have to figure out how to remove the plastic Mopar ones i stuck on right after i bought new! Any ideas on best way to remove items stuck on with 3M tape????
I just did this. I let them sit in the sun with the doors off and then used my trim removal tools. The 3m tape stuck much better than I ever thought. I used the metal trim removal pry bar with a small wood shim to protect the paint. Then worked on the remaining tape with the trim removal tools and goo gone. Again was harder than I thought but go slow and work diligently.

Has it been confirmed if the rugged ridge ones affect the door weather strip this causing water intrusion?

No interference with the sliders.

I think I asked about these elsewhere. I’ve never had a Jeep where the sides didn’t get marred by people climbing in so I’d like to use them.

My concern is water, salt or dirt getting trapped behind them.
How easy are these to pull off again and would reinstalling them just mean replacing tape?

Would it be advisable or even possible to ceramic coat or install ppf first?
What about running a bead of clear silicon around the top edge and the ends facing the tires?

Curious how these are holding up. Looking at putting a set on my new Rubi.

I installed Rugged Ridge for 2 reasons:

1. Coverage.
2. They match the tread pattern of my Rugged Ridge floor liners.

Also, I just used the tape that came on them. I didn't use the activator that the instructions tell you to use. No problems so far.
