In the past few days I’ve installed a Tuffy security enclosure and finished up the Twin ARB compressor using the MORE mount. Wired it up to the aux switch #3. Still need to figure out where to mount the air coupler, but I’ll wait until the soft top is on so I can see where it sits.
And for those that are wondering: the front hard top panels will fit in the tuffy enclosure. I wouldn’t do it without blankets though.

Installed the Redline Tuning prop rods. About a ten minute job. Besides the 10mm socket I used an awl to fish the upper rod mount bracket backing plate to a position where I could get the threads started on the second mounting bolt.

I thought the raised hood height might be a bit lower using the pistons versus the manual prop rod but it's actually slightly higher.

My only concern is the spring cylinder may be a smidge too long. Feels like it may be contacting the ball socket fixture when closing.

Added the Voswitch JL200. The installation was easy...I had a harder time removing the Alien Sunshade! Also I could NOT get the wipers off. I saw on line that for some Jeeps the first time is hard, so I just had a buddy hold the windshield forward while I ran the cable. The Voswitch instructions are not good, but the product seems solid and the design well thought out. Thanks @NXT Black Moab for the tips. Now I just need my lights and winch to come in to hook up to it!

My Saturday social distancing project was installing a MXT275 with Midlands 6db antenna on cooltech’s antenna bracket.

Not mine but my dad's 2008 JK, changed out the brakes which was supposed to be routine but whatever could go wrong did go wrong.

- driver side rear wheel were way overtorqued by a shop (probably well over 200ft/lbs), broke 3 adapters, a wrench, and a breaker bar
- last lug nut stripped as in the outer shell came right off exposing the softer metal inner nut. Took a sized down 1/2" 17mm socket and pounded it on with a hammer with 2 cheater bars and broke it out finally
- one of the pistons was so corroded it had death gripped the bore and wouldn't come out with air, PB Blaster, a tap, etc... had to buy a whole new caliper
- Motiv bleeder broke, spewed brake fluid all over the driver side of the engine bay and had to rapidly get it off the paint and plastic bits

She got new pads, rotors, fluid, one new caliper, and all new lug nuts...which are 21mm and not 19mm and now I need to get a new tire iron and I'm out a bleeder as well. Anyways she stops on a dime so that's good.

Wish I had pictures to share but this ordeal was too frustrating to record.
