Oil Pressure After Oil Change

I just finished changing my oil with the proper oil filter and using 5qts of 0W-20 Pennzoil Ultra.

When I start the Jeep the oil pressure registers at 30psi. The pressure stays at 30 even as I begin to accelerate. If I stomp on it the oil pressure will go up but then go then return to 30psi.

The oil pressure functioned normal prior to my changing the oil.

Any thoughts?

0W-20 . Pressure before at idle was like 30-32psi.

Maybe this is normal. I read another post where they were saying it stays around 30 until you get to 3000rom. I'll have to check that

It could always be a gauge reading wrong.

Sounds normal.

Mine does the same thing. The oil pressure will suddenly climb at around 3,000 rpm but return to 30 psi below that.
