What brand are those hinge steps?

Does it make removing the doors more complicated?
They are Kargo Master Safari. Try amazon-they are getting harder to find. I bought the Smittybilt Atlas hinge steps originally but they were not for me. It doesn't make removing the doors any more complicated because they mount directly to the door, not the hinge itself. Definitely follow the directions though (my first box didn't come with any) because the door can fall out of alignment and it is slightly more challenging to attach. Also, there are a few threads on door hinge steps and people complain about not being able to remove factory bolts. You definitely need a breaker bar or you will strip the bolts. Let me know if you have any further questions-happy to help!

Thanks so much for sharing that link! Why was the winch a PITA? Couldn't get it to fit on the plate?
Itā€™s a *tight* fit in the OEM steel bumper and getting to the inner bumper bolts is a real challenge.

I remember having to loosen the winch so we could move it a bit to get to the inner bolts (I did make notes in that thread). We are going to have to go through it again on my replacement Jeep. Fun times :CWL:.

I checked the KMS website and it appears they are these: https://metalcloak.com/universal-metalcloak-hinge-step.html

Does that look right?

It was a little tricky only because the harnesses to tap into are a pain. Very little room to get in there. I liked the positap connectors they provided. It makes the job far easier. I must have checked I got the right wires at least 10 times before I connected. :whew:

It's the little things sometimes - I had Moab take-off wheels installed on my Sport S a little over a week ago, and today I switched out the factory lugs with black ones from Quadratec.

Added some protection to the front end today.

Installed a new Elite Headlight Guard Kit by Rugged Ridge.

Installed a new SLP Bumper Hoop by Maximus-3.
