Those who have installed this snorkel, could you please check if you have the same issue.

There's a big gap on the high mount gasket, where the arrows are pointing:

FYI, the picture that you shared does not allow for clear understanding of the issue.

You may want to post other pictures.

On mine, where the part of the cowl where the rubber "hose" connects has a gap because the weak assed plastic it goes around starts to collapse inward when you tighten the hose clamp. It leaves about a 1/16th inch gap there where water can enter the intake.

Mine has the same thing. However I did get a hose and sprayed the gap and very little water got in. Almost nothing.

Not that the gap should be there, but at least in an event of water splashing over the hood, it should be fine.

I didn’t have that issue... what I had was this inlet collapse... I didn’t even tighten the clamp... I used a heat gum to reset it, and it worked.. put it started to collapse on its own again. Any one have a solution?

This is the issue I'm having. The heat from the engine is softening the plastic and it is collapsing, leaving air gaps. I think these need reinforced with a loop of metal on the inside of the tube.

use the 3d printed parts in this or another forum to reinforce the clamp areas - working for me so far

I used 3M black strip caulk to seal this gap, per another forum on this.

Do you have a link to any files for those parts, before I spend an hour searching, or do I need to design them myself?

Thanks again to @partclay !

I bet that was cheaper to do than the $80 I paid to have them made in Mexico. My 3D printer only did PLA, so no way I'm putting that in an automotive application.
