pro tip, don’t try install if it’s cold. Shoot for installing in direct sun, or over 80 degrees would be my guess. 40’s, it’s impossible

Thanks for the update. I’m still waiting on fedex. 70 degrees here today. So I removed the hardtop. I used a couple different options to come up with my hoist, winch

and lift the top off I guess you could say I blended some parts together happy worked well.

Nice! I installed a ceiling winch over the weekend to pull my top off, just used tie down straps, hooked in the middle, worked perfectly.

Thanks The extra strap in the rear and the front are just there for back up. Yeah I like being able to do it all by myself I hate counting on anybody for anything hell maybe that’s why I’ve been married three times.Lol

When will colored soft tops be offered for the JLUR?

I don't think it will be for quite some time. I've not heard any internal discussion around colors, so at a minimum, it won't be in 2020. Sorry

Finished up this morning, have it sitting in the sun to warm it up. Getting the rear window edge flaps in is impossible. Hoping the heat softens it up enough to stretch....

Helps that I’m in Colorado so shipping was relatively quick, box 1 arrived on Saturday, Box 2 on Monday.

please note the roll bar mount brackets are stamped upside down. I’m sure someone at some point it going to jack up their install because of the upside down error. I called your customer service on Monday to let them know.

I ended up sheering one of the 3 small bolts that take the nylocks, as I was dorking around with the bracket. It’s holding with 2 for now. I may be putting in a warranty claim, to replace that driver side mechanism that attaches to the bracket. Took me a minute to figure out it was upside down.

Not sure this is the right place to post but I know bestop is closed right now .

my top arrived yesterday and I’m looking at the parts. The upper rear door panel in the instructions are part 574.42 and 574.43.

what came is part 585.95 and 585.94. Anyone happen to know if there is a misprint in the manual or I was sent the wrong thing? They look the same in the pictures.
