What Warn winch part number did you go with? I first ordered a WARN 103253 VR EVO 10-S then I seen a video showing that Warn make the same model that they say is JL ready WARN 89611 ZEON 10-S. From what I have read the 89611 has a different control lever that will not hit the OEM steel bumper. Amazon shows both not fitting the JL. I am getting confused and going to go broke. I ordered the 103253 then heard about the 89611 so I ordered that and tried to cancel the first one but Amazon won't cancel it. So now I have 2 coming this week. Then I get home from work and found that my wife ordered me a WARN 103253 VR EVO 10-S Electric as a surprise so now I have 3 different Warn winches due this week. what is the right one? See
Holy hell man! Lol that's a lot of winches!
Here's what I ordered:

Holly crap, that's a pricey one. I don't need a remote. I don't know how often i will use it for the little off roading time I will have.

Supposedly the JL engineers designed the wheel arches to articulate 37s with a 2” lift. Maybe the cargo area was just dumb luck? Borah beadlocks will probably show up while I’m in Hawaii next week so it’s going to be a bit before these pats are finally feeling some 3.0 torque.

They are a pain to mount on beadlocks, but they have been great on the road. Not too noisy.
I know what you are talking about. When mounting first I almost gave up. Then I just took sharp and wet knife and trimmed the lip on the inner diameter that is seating around neck of the wheel.

AEV 2.5 when they supposedly release the 8100XP Bilstein remote reservoir shocks in the next month.

Hope you have good luck with it. Do those shocks have adjustable damping? They should work. The only possible issue are front springs. You might have to use spacers until correct springs are available. I am picking up my diesel Rubi Friday so I need to decide which way to go myself soon. Not sure if I can drive on my 37 Coopers without lift.

I went with 1" larger springs in the front. Hopefully that does it. I've been driving on 37s with no lift for two weeks. It'll only rub with full passengers and on a bump. Lol and only in the rear.

If you take a heat gun to that plastic protrusion at the back of the rear fender you can mold it out of the way so it doesn’t rub.

Good to know about 37 and no lift. I will try it. So, you got 1" longer front springs? If I remember correctly left and right front springs are not the same. Are both 1" longer? Was there an option to buy 2" longer ones? I am installing Warn winch and that sucker is heavy so it will add to diesel engine weight.

Love your jeep, looks great
I ordered a Warn 103253 VR EVO 10-S, And 101255 mounting kit. will that fit on the OEM steel bumper?
Yes, it will. I ordered this same winch and mounting plate and have it installed. Check out my notes in my post in this 3.0 section. I have a picture of it installed as well.

As an FYI, the EVO 10s and warn winch plate dropped the front end of my JLURD down exactly .5"

I put an untested Tera Flex lift on my diesel. I had to add a 1 inch spacer in front. Rides great. Better than stock. I originally bought the Falcon 3.3 Sp shocks but the right front would not fit because of extra battery. I ended up putting Falcon 2.1.
Can you send a list of exactly what you used for the lift ? I’m looking into a lift for my Diesel until the Mopar one becomes available.

I wanted a 2.5" lift, So I ordered a 3.5". With the weight of the diesel and winch it'll more than likely drop to the 2.5" lift I wanted. I'm also running a motobilt tire carrier and heavy 37" beadlock in the rear.
