Good evening to all. Just got my Willy's last week. I wanted the Alpine stereo and towing package with the HD electrical system and couldn't find one. The salesman at the dealership suggested I ordered one. So glad I did! That big o'le sub makes a HUGE difference. Got to have my tunes. First order of the day was to get the fuel filler door which I installed pronto.

Congrats, I had planned on ordering mine to get some other goodies but my color wasn't available anymore so I had to find one on the lot. I'll just add all that stuff later. ENJOY!!:like:

Mine was almost the same, but I opted for the backup sensors. I am in too many crowded parking lots with fast drivers not to get them. Oh, and I dropped the auto transmission.

Like the build!! And the Willys!

Dropping in to say hello...I got the 2020 Willy's back in December and now have just under 2800 miles, and loving every minute of it. Its really been great when the weather in the Northwest turned snowy and icy in early January, and the vehicle has been very solid. Mine features the Convenience Group, Technology Group, Towing Group and Cold Weather Package, and has the 2.0L engine. Over the course of the 2800 miles, I'm averaging about 23.8 miles per gallon in both city and highway driving, and through somewhat hilly terrain in the Seattle area. I also own a lifted 2013 2-Door JK, so its been fun switching between the 2 jeeps, but the Willys package is really fantastic.

Wow that’s great! I got mine in November and I’m still averaging 17 mpg city/hwy driving :(

the two big features I wanted were the 8.4 Premium, hood, fender flares, and proximity locks.
I’m dying for proximity locks. Every time I lock or unlock my Jeep I can’t believe I don’t have it.

After owning a 2003 TJ Sport soft top, I came to the conclusion that anyone with a steak knife or better could easily get into my Jeep. "Unlocked" became my default/proximity lock.

I tried to get proximity locks when I ordered mine. Can’t get them on a Sport or a Willys Edition. So I had to suffer on this one. I sure do like the proximity locks having had them on my other car.

Did some minor mods myself today. DId the fuel filler door (agreed, should be factory. I didn't want the side steps, so I didn't order it either.) Nice and simple, but so much better looking now. I also replaced the stock antenna with a 13" stubby. I didn't care much for the fact they gave us a blacked out jeep for everything except the antenna.

Yeah...17 seems a bit low, but are you in a lot of stop and go traffic? My commute is about 46 miles round trip, with about 60-70% highway. In the Seattle area, the speed limit is 60 on all the freeways, and most people go about that, maybe slightly faster, even if there is no traffic. I think the lower speed limit in the Seattle area helps quite a bit. I also have the 2.0L and use Chevron 92 octane fuel, so that may be a factor too. No matter the mileage though, I think the Willy's is a fantastic package and upgrade to the Sport versions. I feel like I can get in, and drive a 1000 miles in comfort :)

That will be great to meet up! There is a big Jeep meet at Triple XXX Root Beer in Issaquah this March 29th, and last year, there were hundreds of Jeeps...it was amazing, and I plan to go.

Both highway and city driving, i would say like 60% highway. I’m hoping it will get better as I put more miles on it. I have under 3000 miles right now.

That's your LA MPG rating. I live in the valley and my MPG sucks, but on road trips my MPG jumps by 20-25% (wheeling not included, of course). Take a drive up the Angeles Crest and you'll be surprised!
